Hi guys, I hope you’re having a beautiful day and I hope you’ve had a great Christmas as well, surrounded by your loved ones.
Today I have a list of the books that have most disappointed me this year, this list will count with those books for which I was excited to read but ended up being a disappointment when they didn’t reach my expectations, bored me or were problematic in some way . In addition to the Goodreads link, I also add a direct link to my Review of the book in case you want to know in detail my thoughts about it
Before starting I want to clarify that this post doesn’t intend to offend anyone, it’s just a personal opinion, I know that most of you understand this, but even so, I have to clarify it just in case.
So, without further ado, let’s start! Continue reading “My Most Disappointing Books of the Year [2017]”

July Wrap Up [2017]

Copia de Copia de SPRINGTIME (1)

Hi babes! I hope you’re well and having a great start to the week.
Today I bring you my July Wrap Up, where I tell you about everything I’ve read during the month. This month I read 5 books and unfortunately I’ve DNF 1, I hate don’t finish books, but I really wasn’t feeling it at that time, anyway, maybe I’ll try again some time, but I’ll see.
I was hoping to read more, in fact I had the time to do it, but I’ve really been feeling with a kind of reading slump, anyway I didn’t want to press myself because I know it would be even worse and I would end up not enjoying the readings, but with luck the books I’m currently reading will take me out of that place.
I have very different feelings from one book to another, within everyone I have read, so it will be interesting
I am currently reading an Arc of NetGalley which is Odd & True by Cat Winters and another book of my choice that is A Dog’s Purpose by W. Bruce Cameron, and I’m enjoying both very much so I’m very excited to talk to you about it very soon .So without further ado we start with this month’s Wrap Up. Safi must avoid capture at all costs as she’s a rare Truthwitch, able to discern truth from lies. Many would kill for her magic, so Safi must keep it hidden – lest she be used in the struggle between empires. And Iseult’s true powers are hidden even from herself.

In a chance encounter at Court, Safi meets Prince Merik and makes him a reluctant ally. However, his help may not slow down the Bloodwitch now hot on the girls’ heels. All Safi and Iseult want is their freedom, but danger lies ahead. With war coming, treaties breaking and a magical contagion sweeping the land, the friends will have to fight emperors and mercenaries alike. Hi babes!, I hope you’re having a great day, I’ve an exciting TBR to show you this month, well I always get excited when I build my list of what I read in the month, but you feel me.
Before I started I wanted to tell you something, as I told you in my Wrap Up, I was reading Ice Like Fire the second book in the Snow Like Ashes trilogy and after trying to continue with it several times I decided that it would be better to leave it for another time, for some reason I didn’t get hooked with the story and I was very bored so I believe will be Better to continue with it later, anyway I want to finish this trilogy because I really love the first book so I’ll try again but not in this month.I hope not to enter to a reading slump, so I’ll try to vary in the genres and if I feel I can’t do it maybe do some re-reading.
So, without further ado I’ll show you the books I plan to read during the month of July
