Favorite New-To-Me Authors || 2019 💻

⭐️ Hi guys! I hope you’re having the best day & especially that you’re enjoying your current reading.❤️ Today I return with my December post series where I wrap up a little my year in posts and talk with you about it, this time it’s the turn to talk about those new to me authors who have been favorites this year, this means that this time I highlight those authors that I read for the first time in 2019 and whose works I’ve loved or enjoyed a lot for reasons that I’ll specify later. 🥰  Each of these authors is incredible and I’ve chosen them precisely because each of them stands out in a particular aspect that I’ve enjoyed a lot in my reading experience, such as the writing style, of course, or the talent to create atmosphere, tell stories and/or create characters.

I’m super excited, I know that some of these authors are very well known to you and very well-loved but it’s my first time trying with them this year, so for me, it’s all very new and I’m ready to read more of their works in the following year! Some of them, on the other hand, personally think they don’t have the recognition they deserve, so I think it’s the perfect occasion to recommend their work! 👏🏻
I hope you enjoy the post a lot, and hopefully find a new author you want to try in 2020.. so, Let’s Start.⭐️ Continue reading “Favorite New-To-Me Authors || 2019 💻”

August Wrap Up || N.E.W.TS 💫, Trying My First Audio- Book & Renewing My Blog’s Image || 2019 ||❄️

❄️ Hi guys!! I hope you’re having the best day & you’re enjoying your reading 💞 Today I bring you our beloved Wrap Up of the month of August where I’ll talk about all the books I’ve read during the month. Well, this has certainly been a wild month for me, I’ve had very bad times, I’ve managed to cope with them, both with your help and my family’s, today I’m optimistic and positive, ready for what life has prepared for me in the future. 🌻
I don’t want to make this an endless post, but I still wouldn’t want to start without thanking you for being there when I lost my job and needed a few days for myself, for being understanding and so warm with me, I swear you’re an angel and my safe place, I LOVE YOU.❤️

Despite this, I’ve made the decision this month, finally, to changed a little the blog, so I’ve given it a new look, I know it’s different but I like it. I think it represents me well, it’s simple but romantic and delicate, I hope you like it as well. I haven’t finished yet, there are several things I want to do as I get used to the new thing, but I’m still researching and learning how all this works, I’m not a designer and I don’t know much about informatics or those things, so sometimes it gets complicated, but I‘m having fun changing some simple things and I feel energetic to make this a small new beginning for the blog, so I can’t wait. 😊
In addition to having renewed the image, I’ve also bought my own domain and I’ve got a premium plan here on WordPress, my idea is to try for a year and see how I feel about it and see what changes and differences I can get. I know it’s not necessary to have this kind of plan to be a good blogger, I don’t think that at all, but I wanted to take this as a new experience and a one-year adventure and see how I feel about it. You know that I love my blog and being here with you, so I feel it’s more like an investment, and that’s super exciting to me. 🥰 👏🏻

I’m a little late with my posts, in general, so don’t worry everything will come but a little later, I still have to plan my TBR, but I’ll talk more about it in another post and I also have to write a review of a book that I loved, which I’ll talk more about next! 😍
So, speaking about my readings of the month, I’m very happy with everything I’ve read and how my month has been in that regard. Sadly, I failed just for one book to complete my TBR, but I’m still happy for what I achieved. 📚 I’m SO happy because I’ve managed to read ALL the ARCs that I set out to. I also listened to my first audiobook and OMG, it was an INCREDIBLE experience, I really enjoyed it, so I hope to continue listening, maybe one per month or something like that. I really enjoyed participating for the first time in the NEWTs, I failed as I thought I would, but Oh, I had a lot of fun, so I’d say it was a success, right? or at least it’s what I want to believe 😂
So without further ado, LET’S START, I’m so excited to talk with you about the books I read ❄️

Book Review || The Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller

Book Review || The Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller

 💫 Hi guys, I’M BACK!! and I hope you’re having a wonderful day, enjoying your readings 💞
I know I’ve been absent in the past few days, but I felt that I needed to relax and be alone with myself until I felt better. I feel much better today, I haven’t gotten a job yet, but I’ve been sending and taking my resume everywhere and most people have been very kind so I have faith that everything will be solved soon. My boyfriend is a wonderful being who has been holding me as well as my family, I really don’t know what I would do without them, but they weren’t the only ones who were and are there for me, but also I have YOU and these days I have realized how much you mean to me and the huge impact you have on my life. I couldn’t be more grateful for all the beautiful messages and comments of love, encouragement, and support that I’ve received in these difficult days. I feel that every time I read a comment it fills me with a beautiful force that helps me move on and believe in myself. I don’t know what I’d do without you, I LOVE YOU, today and forever. Creating this blog has been one of my smartest decisions I swear, it’s my escape, my passion, and my safe place. 😊
So, I’ll continue posting frequently as always, because honestly, I miss a lot when I don’t do it and later if something happens, I’ll keep you informed. THANK YOU SO MUCH, guys, I feel like the luckiest person in the world, I’m blessed you’re there for me 😭 ❤️  💫

Greece in the age of heroes. Patroclus, an awkward young prince, has been exiled to the court of King Peleus and his perfect son Achilles. By all rights their paths should never cross, but Achilles takes the shamed prince as his friend, and as they grow into young men skilled in the arts of war and medicine their bond blossoms into something deeper – despite the displeasure of Achilles’ mother Thetis, a cruel sea goddess. But then word comes that Helen of Sparta has been kidnapped. Torn between love and fear for his friend, Patroclus journeys with Achilles to Troy, little knowing that the years that follow will test everything they hold dear.

Profoundly moving and breathtakingly original, this rendering of the epic Trojan War is a dazzling feat of the imagination, a devastating love story, and an almighty battle between gods and kings, peace and glory, immortal fame and the human heart.

💫 Hi guys! I hope you’re having a beautiful day! 💞 Today I bring you my TBR for the month of August, where I’ll tell you everything I’ll be reading during the month. This month I’ll be participating for the first time in the N.E.W.Ts, this is the second part of what’s an incredible Magical Read-A-Thon created by Book Roast, who has really done an impressive job creating the promps, the careers and even creates super original content for the read-a-thon that makes everything even more special. I highly recommend you check her video announcement out, I’ll leave it above, so you can understand better what it’s all about. In the video description you can find all the information you need, from the careers to a Q&A section where you can clear all your doubts, so don’t hesitate and check it out! 😍
The creator always mentions that you can take this read-a-thon and do it as you want, we’re all welcome to participate if you want to do the O.W.Ls which is the first part, during August you can also do it, or if you prefer not to follow any career and just take the promps you like the most, or, in another case, and as I’ll be doing, you can do the N.E.W.Ts directly and take them as practice if you’ve never experienced this read-a-thon before. 😊

 💛 I was so excited and it was so special for me to be one of the bloggers to give recommendations for this read-a-thon, so if you haven’t found that perfect book yet or have doubts about your TBR, I invite you to check my Hufflepuff Study Guide Recommendations post, maybe I can help you to find what you’re looking for! 💛

So, for my career I’ve chosen Hogwarts Professor, it seemed to me that it was the one that fits most with the books I wanted to read during the month, I could put some ARCs on the list, so YAY! and I also think I can handle the number of books I’ll need to read for it, I’ll be reading 7 books, which is great. 😅 Also, who wouldn’t want to be a Hogwarts Professor, right? So I don’t want to waste any more time and I want to immediately start and tell you all about what subject I’ll be specializing in to teach and what books I’ll read! Let’s get started, I’m so excited! 💫 Continue reading “August TBR || N.E.W.Ts 2019 💫|| My Journey to Become a Hogwarts Professor ||❄️”

💫 Hi guys, I hope you’re having a beautiful day! Today I bring you another part of our series, the book meme “Down the TBR Hole”which I’m doing hoping that it will help me to reduce the number of books that are in my current TBR

My plan is to upload this meme every week where. (I’m glad that now you want to see more books in this post so I decided to do 10 books per post instead of 5, not only will it be MUCH more entertaining and fun, because we’ll have more books to talk about, but I’ll also be able to clean my TBR faster which is great!) so, I’ll show you 10 books of which I’ll choose which one I’ll keep or get rid of. I want to make this weekly meme as interactive as possible, so I’ll be consulting a lot with you, to decide what to do. There will be those books which I’ll be interested in (Keep), those which I’ll not be interested in anymore (GO) and those which I’ll not be sure about, and with those, I’ll need your help. So please, let me know all your thoughts in the comments and I’ll be able to take my decision and let you know in the next post. 💫

I’m very happy because I’ve seen that you have participated a lot in the previous post, leaving me your comments, so I’m super excited to continue with this weekly meme.
If you’re doing the same meme right now, let me know so I can check your post out and leave my thoughts there 💖 Continue reading “Down The TBR Hole || #12 ||☕️”

I don’t know who is the original creator of this challenge, so if you know, please let me know in the comments. Personally I’ve seen this challenge/tag in the blogs of Tiana (The Book Raven) and Jacquie (Rattle the Stars), both are adorable people and their blogs are amazing so, please, check them, you’ll not regret it

Guys, makes me so happy that you still want to continue seeing this challenge and all your support means everything to me, also it’s super fun for me to do it, and a great excuse to talk a little about my favorite books.
