Top 5 | 5-Star Book Predictions | 2020 Edition ๐ŸŒฟ

๐ŸŒฟย Hi, guys! I hope you’re having the best day, surrounded by amazing readings.โค๏ธ Today I decided to start the week with something fun, so I’ll try to guess what books will be 5 stars for me this year. I know I did one of these in the past, but it was a disaster and I ended up not reading any of those books, so this time I’ll make sure that the books I mention are books that I know I’ll be reading during the year and so at the end of 2020, I’ll be able to return with a post telling you all about it. ย ๐Ÿ˜Šย
It’s quite difficult for me to give 5 stars, I tend to be quite demanding with my readings, but I still love this idea, I love to see it on videos and in other posts, so I thought it would be fun to do it myself. It’s also a great incentive to read these books since I’m dying of curiosity to know if they would eventually become 5 stars, even if it would end up being 4.5 stars, it would be wonderful for me.๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป
Super excited to share this list with you, each one of these books has a unique concept that resonates with me or I’ve read the authors in the past and I’ve loved their work, so that’s my justification. Now without further ado, let’s start!ย ๐ŸŒฟ

Top 5 || My Most Anticipated Books of 2020 ๐Ÿ“–๐Ÿ’ซ

Top 5 || My Most Anticipated Books of 2020 ๐Ÿ“–๐Ÿ’ซ

๐Ÿ’ซย Hi, guys! I hope you’re having a beautiful day, full of good readings!โค๏ธย I was thinking a lot this last week and I realized that I hadn’t yet shared with you my most anticipated books of next year, so I had to fix that. Even so, instead of making a list of 10 or more books, I’ve reduce my list a lot to my top 5 most anticipated books of 2020.ย ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿปย I’ve decided to do this because I know that as the year progresses I’ll have my “new monthly releases” posts and more thousands of other books that I’ll find out about, and I’ll end up adding too many books to my TBR that I’ll not read later, that’s why I decided to keep my list small and manageable, and then once the year has come I’ll know that these are the books that I want to focus on or that I want to give priority to, so this in addition to being a list of my most anticipated will also be a sort of TBR for the year, because I’m completely sure that I’ll read each one of them in 2020.ย ๐Ÿฅฐย
I feel super comfortable doing this kind of small list, so I hope that all this makes sense to you and that you enjoy the posts, I also hope you find in my list a book that’s of your interest.ย ๐ŸŒทย  Now, without further ado let’s start, my lovesย ๐Ÿ’ซ

Favorite New-To-Me Authors || 2019 ๐Ÿ’ป

โญ๏ธย Hi guys! I hope you’re having the best day & especially that you’re enjoying your current reading.โค๏ธ Today I return with my December post series where I wrap up a little my year in posts and talk with you about it, this time it’s the turn to talk about those new to me authorsย who have been favorites this year, this means that this time I highlight those authors that I read for the first time in 2019 and whose works I’ve loved or enjoyed a lot for reasons that I’ll specify later.ย ๐Ÿฅฐย  Each of these authors is incredible and I’ve chosen them precisely because each of them stands out in a particular aspect that I’ve enjoyed a lot in my reading experience, such as the writing style, of course, or the talent to create atmosphere, tell stories and/or create characters.

I’m super excited, I know that some of these authors are very well known to you and very well-loved but it’s my first time trying with them this year, so for me, it’s all very new and I’m ready to read more of their works in the following year! Some of them, on the other hand, personally think they don’t have the recognition they deserve, so I think it’s the perfect occasion to recommend their work!ย ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿปย
I hope you enjoy the post a lot, and hopefully find a new author you want to try in 2020.. so, Let’s Start.โญ๏ธ Continue reading “Favorite New-To-Me Authors || 2019 ๐Ÿ’ป”

October Wrap Up || Reading Only Creepy Stories || from Atmospheric Settings to Dark Girls || 2019 ๐ŸŒ˜

ย ๐ŸŒ˜ย Hi guys !! I hope youโ€™re having the best day & youโ€™re enjoying your reading ๐Ÿ’ž Today I bring you my beloved Wrap Up of the month of October, where Iโ€™ll talk about all the books Iโ€™ve read during the month.
Perhaps you’re noticing that I’m uploading this Wrap Up a little early in the month, and it’s because I’ll be out for the next few weeks, as I told you, so I want to leave everything organized before I leave. Therefore, here I’ll tell you a little, as always, about my readings, but if I get to read something else while I’m not at home, then I’ll tell you about it once I return, I hope that’s fine for you.ย ๐Ÿฅฐย This month was something weird, I think I’ve been more focused on watching horror movies than actually reading them, and I’ve also been super busy with family stuff and things, so I haven’t been able to read too much, even so, I’m happy with what I read, because everything has been super dark and creepy, so goal accomplished, anyway!ย ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿปย

Super excited to have received this notification on the blog, ย ๐ŸŽŠย officially the blog has reached 500 postsย ๐ŸŽŠย , and it’s crazy. I mention it on Twitter but I’ll say it again, it seems yesterday that I started with this wonderful project and I still can’t believe everything it has given me, I’m extremely happy & grateful to be here. So thanks, thanks & thanks for all your support and love on this journey โค๏ธย ๐Ÿ˜ญย

Well, I really don’t have much to tell you this time, I’ve been wanting to, as always, get involved in your posts and blogs and be there to support you, so I hope you felt the loveย ๐Ÿค—, and I can’t wait to come back, I don’t even go anywhere yet lol, and surely you’ll not even notice it because here will be my past self with you, so HI!.ย ๐Ÿ˜…ย
About my readings, to be more specific, I’ve read 2 ARCs, one could be one of my favorite readings of the year, then I read one of my most anticipated of the year & also a ghosts book, I cannot wait to tell you more about. So without further ado, let’s get started!ย ๐ŸŒ˜ Continue reading “October Wrap Up || Reading Only Creepy Stories || from Atmospheric Settings to Dark Girls || 2019 ๐ŸŒ˜”

Synopsis

It’s been eighteen months since the Raxter School for Girls was put under quarantine. Since the Tox hit and pulled Hetty’s life out from under her.

It started slow. First the teachers died one by one. Then it began to infect the students, turning their bodies strange and foreign. Now, cut off from the rest of the world and left to fend for themselves on their island home, the girls don’t dare wander outside the school’s fence, where the Tox has made the woods wild and dangerous. They wait for the cure they were promised as the Tox seeps into everything.

But when Byatt goes missing, Hetty will do anything to find her, even if it means breaking quarantine and braving the horrors that lie beyond the fence. And when she does, Hetty learns that there’s more to their story, to their life at Raxter, than she could have ever thought true.

October TBR || Spooky & Witchy Reads + some ARCs || 2019 ๐ŸŒ˜

October TBR || Spooky & Witchy Reads + some ARCs || 2019 ๐ŸŒ˜

๐ŸŒ˜ย Hi guys! I hope youโ€™re having a beautiful day!ย ๐Ÿ’ž Today I bring you my TBR for the month of October, where Iโ€™ll tell you everything Iโ€™ll be reading during the month. Finally, the horror month has arrived and I’m super excited for it, I’ve been planning a lot and changing my TBR like crazy, so I hope to have put together a good stack and enjoy the majority of them. Despite having 2 ARCs that I really have to read in October, I’ll be focusing on those mysterious, spooky vibes or witchy books that I’ve had in my TBR for some time now, or that I just really want to read. This type of books where something magical happens or is located in a creepy place or is absolutely atmospheric, are my favorite readings for the whole year, but it feels even more special to read them during October since most of us will be reading the same things, so it will be fun to exchange opinions and know more about you own picks, I always LOVE to know!ย ๐Ÿ˜ย I also plan to watch some movies this month, I haven’t watched almost anything in September, and I really love watching movies so I’ll be looking for some horror to check out, so if you have any recommendations, let me know in the comments, that would be great!ย ๐Ÿงกย
I’m very very happy for the great success that my September has been in terms of reading, so this month I feel somewhat ambitious, I don’t want to exaggerate because we all know where that ends, but I do want to at least try to read those books that I’ve wanted to read since that came out and prioritize them.ย ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿปย I know this month is full of incredible read-a-thons, but I’ve decided to stay out of them this year because I’ve been participating in too many and I just want to read relaxedly what I’ve already chosen, no pressure, you know?. Don’t misunderstand me, though, I love read-a-thons and you know it, especially since they push you to read a little more and get out of your comfort zone, but this month I don’t feel like pressure, so I think it’s the best decision. Even so, I’ll be following all of you who participate, because I adore this kind of spooky read-a-thons and I’m already dying to know that you’ll be reading.ย ๐Ÿ˜Š

ย ๐Ÿ’ซย In other news, as I do every year, I’ll be taking a two-week vacation and we’ll go on a trip with my boyfriend, I’ll be leaving on October 28 and I’ll be away for most of November.ย ๐Ÿค—ย ย
As you know, this doesn’t mean that I’ll not be checking your posts from time to time, but it does mean that I’ll not be uploading content and maybe I don’t read much either. Personally, I feel that it’s something that I need to do for myself, my mind and my health, so it’s a mini-rest thing and then I’ll return as usual.
I’ll probably have my Wrap Up quite early in the month, but well, closer to the date I’ll let you know again.ย ๐Ÿ’ซย

Lastly, and before I begin, I want to thank you as I do every month for the support and love that you give me with each “comment” and “like”, it means the world for me to have you and only a few days ago I received the notification that my traffic has grown, and I have no words, it really is a blessing and I thank the universe for having created the blog because the connections I’ve made with you all will be forever. I LOVE YOU and I hope you have the most wonderful month โค๏ธย
Now without further ado let’s start, I have a lot to show youย ๐ŸŒ˜ Continue reading “October TBR || Spooky & Witchy Reads + some ARCs || 2019 ๐ŸŒ˜”
