From the acclaimed author of Forever, Interrupted and After I Do comes a breathtaking new novel about a young woman whose fate hinges on the choice she makes after bumping into an old flame; in alternating chapters, we see two possible scenarios unfold—with stunningly different results.
At the age of twenty-nine, Hannah Martin still has no idea what she wants to do with her life. She has lived in six different cities and held countless meaningless jobs since graduating college. On the heels of leaving yet another city, Hannah moves back to her hometown of Los Angeles and takes up residence in her best friend Gabby’s guestroom. Shortly after getting back to town, Hannah goes out to a bar one night with Gabby and meets up with her high school boyfriend, Ethan.
Just after midnight, Gabby asks Hannah if she’s ready to go. A moment later, Ethan offers to give her a ride later if she wants to stay. Hannah hesitates. What happens if she leaves with Gabby? What happens if she leaves with Ethan?
In concurrent storylines, Hannah lives out the effects of each decision. Quickly, these parallel universes develop into radically different stories with large-scale consequences for Hannah, as well as the people around her. As the two alternate realities run their course, Maybe in Another Life raises questions about fate and true love: Is anything meant to be? How much in our life is determined by chance? And perhaps, most compellingly: Is there such a thing as a soul mate?
Hannah believes there is. And, in both worlds, she believes she’s found him.
🌻 Hi guys!! I hope you’re having the best day & you’re enjoying your reading 💞 Today I bring you my beloved Wrap Up of the month of November, where I’ll talk about all the books I’ve read during the month. WOW, what a month, you guys! It has been an emotions rollercoaster, no doubt. The month began with me going away on a mini-break/vacation thing and visiting family, and I finish with my mother’s surgery and has been a crazy month, really. On the one hand, I’m happy because I look back and I’m lucky that I have a wonderful family and I’m grateful because my mother has had the opportunity to go to surgery to improve her of life quality and that’s wonderful, but on the other hand, I’ve been so stressed because I had to deal with a lot of things, I’0m the big sister, you know lol, so it was an intense month I would say. Even so, always staying very positive because I know how lucky I am because I also have YOU ❤️, who have been amazing this month, and have understood and supported me in everything, so THANK YOU SO SO MUCH! You’re incredible & I’ve been blessed with hundreds of wonderful comments wishing a good recovery to my mom, she’s doing incredible guys, thank you very much for all that beautiful energy. 💫
In other news, the blog has turned 3 years old this month!! 🎉 OMG, time really flies, right? I hope and want to continue blogging for much longer and continue to share my love for reading with each of you, as well as continue learning and growing. 👏🏻 I feel this community as part of my family and that’s such a warm and beautiful thing to feel, you have to know that you’re never alone if you are part of the book community. 🥰
Because of everything I previously told you, it has been a busy month, so I haven’t had the chance to read much, yet I’m happy to have been able to fit 3 books in my super busy month. So in spite of everything, I would call it successful 😊 , because I also enjoyed EVERYTHING I read, some more and others less, but all of them great books that I die to share with you. I read books by my favorite authors: Taylor Jenkins Reid & Leigh Bardugo, I’ve both had them in my bookshelf for a while now, so I was super excited to finally read them and I had another super unexpected reading of a subject that I love … I’m so excited to start telling you how I felt about each one of these books and to know your opinion! 😍 So, without further ado, let’s start & LOVE YOU! 🌻Continue reading “November Wrap Up || Prioritizing my Personal Life & Reading Two of my Favorite Authors || 2019 🌻”→
