Dreamy Book Cover Tag ⭐️

So excited to make this tag, I was tagged last year by Tiana @ The Book Raven, who is also the CREATOR OF THIS TAG!, so I thank her very much for the tag and I recommend you go visit her blog, it’s so entertaining and pretty. Plus: she’s adorable. So, I know, I’m a little late to the party lol, but I try to catch up with my tags and I recently saw this tag again in the Zezee with Books blog (check it out ASAP!, is amazing, you’ll not regret it ) and this motivated me even more to finally do it, so without further ado let’s start with the fun stuff! My Favorite Books of the Year! [2017]

My Favorite Books of the Year! [2017]

Copia de Copia de Copia de Copia de Copia de SPRINGTIME (2)

Hi guys!, I hope you’re having a beautiful day. This December I’ve proposed myself to make several of this type of post, I think it’s fun and sums up well how my reading has been this year.
Today I bring you “My Favorite Books of the Year!”, I love to share with you some of the best books I’ve read during 2017. For me, it’s very difficult to add a book to my favorites list, I guess I’m demanding, so not all the books I mention are on that list. But WAIT !, I’m not cheating, they’re all books to which I’ve given 5 stars,  which I love and which I would read again …

I don’t know how you manage your rating system, but not all of my 5 star readings fall on my favorites list, I’m quite selective with the books I put on this list, I can love the book and think it’s fantastic and put it a 5 stars, but I have to feel something really special about the book or don’t stop thinking about so that it go into my list of favorites. It’s also not easy for me to give 5 stars, I’m quite demanding in that sense, there are books that I’ve absolutely loved and still have 4.5 stars, but this is just my way of giving my punctuation and I wanted to share it with you, I don’t like it when I see that someone gives 5 stars to all the books, I feel that that person itsn’t subjective or is influenced by the thoughts of others, you know?. With that said, let’s continue …

I’ll show you the book along with its synopsis and its Goodreads link, in case you’re interested and want to check it out. I’ll not write about each one separately because I would probably be forever writing lol, besides I don’t want to sound repetitive and write about how much that I love the book over and over again, you already know that, otherwise, I wouln’t be adding the book to this list. In Summary: I recommend each of these books, YOU HAVE TO READ IT
Without further ado, I’m super excited to show you my choices this year, so let’s START! Continue reading “My Favorite Books of the Year! [2017]”

LGBT Books Recs!

LGBT Books Recs!

Copia de SPRINGTIME (6)

This post is totally inspired by the book I’m currently reading and loving, We Are Okay by Nina LaCour, I’m so close to finish with it, but I don’t want to 😦 I think this will be a favorite! OMG SO GOOD! *Feelings everywhere*. And I was thinking that the two books I’ve added to my list of favorites this year are LGBT books, so I came up with my favorites of the genre and I hope you can recommend me more of them because it’s a genre that I discovered this year, is new to me and makes me soooo happy when I read about, so I really want to add more to my TBR Continue reading “LGBT Books Recs!”

Hello everyone! I hope everyone is having an incredible weekend!
Today I bring you a Standalone Sunday that is a feature created by Megan @bookslayerReads, where we will feature a standalone book (not part of a series) that you loved or would recommend 🙂

I’ll Give You the Sun by Jandy Nelson

20820994A brilliant, luminous story of first love, family, loss, and betrayal for fans of John Green, David Levithan, and Rainbow Rowell

Jude and her twin brother, Noah, are incredibly close. At thirteen, isolated Noah draws constantly and is falling in love with the charismatic boy next door, while daredevil Jude cliff-dives and wears red-red lipstick and does the talking for both of them. But three years later, Jude and Noah are barely speaking. Something has happened to wreck the twins in different and dramatic ways . . until Jude meets a cocky, broken, beautiful boy, as well as someone else—an even more unpredictable new force in her life. The early years are Noah’s story to tell. The later years are Jude’s. What the twins don’t realize is that they each have only half the story, and if they could just find their way back to one another, they’d have a chance to remake their world.

This radiant novel from the acclaimed, award-winning author of The Sky Is Everywhere will leave you breathless and teary and laughing—often all at once.

Oh guys this book is so amazing, magical and easy to read!
It was the first book I’ve added without hesitation to my list of favorites this year
I didn’t expect to fall in love with this reading as I did, once I started with it, it was so difficult for me to put it down, I would have read it in one sitting without thinking if I had had the time
We follow the story of Jude and her twin brother Noah, and the interesting thing about this story is how different these characters are from each other, this gives a lot of diversity and different perspectives of situations, which is great.
I love the way it’s written jumping between past chapters and present chapters, where we can see clearly how life is changing for them, as their personalities are totally different in the present and this is due to a lot of situations that happen during the book.
It’s a story of discovery, struggle, overcoming, these boys really are so lost and we see how they both get to touch the bottom and struggle to get up every time, but especially what I think the writer wanted to point out was the importance of family and the love beetween brothers, and how this love can in the end against all adversities
This book makes you think. Who are you ?, What do you want for your life? , What is important for you? What would you do for love? It’s so deep.
It made me laugh, cry and fall in love, and now I would love for all of you to be encouraged to read it, so that you can feel all these things for yourselves

Let me know in the comments, I always love to know what you think.

April Wrap Up [2017]

April Wrap Up [2017]

Hi guys! I hope you all are having a great weekend. Today I bring you my April Wrap Up! Which is where I tell you about my readings of the month, so let’s start.
I’ve had a very good month, I was pretty focused on finishing a couple of my ARCs this month and I’ve done it, so I’m really happy about it, Anyway I still have more, which I will be reading and reviewing in the coming months, I really want to take those books seriously and be as “professional” as possible about this, you know what I mean? , I always appreciate when an Arc is provided to me, so I want to be responsible with it. So yeah, I’m just trying to give my best about it 🙂
So this month I have been able to reading 6 books, a number with which I’m super happy and comfortable every month :D, As for the quality of the reading I would say that I loved the half of the books, while the other half wasn’t so good, so I’d say it’s 50/50 this month, although I’ve added one more book to my favorites list !! and that didn’t happen for a long time, YAY! , so without further ado, let’s do it!
