Synopsis

THE INTERNATIONAL BESTSELLER!

“Agatha Christie meets Groundhog Day . . . quite unlike anything I’ve ever read, and altogether triumphant.”—A. J. Finn, #1 New York Times bestselling author of The Woman in the Window

Aiden Bishop knows the rules. Evelyn Hardcastle will die every day until he can identify her killer and break the cycle. But every time the day begins again, Aiden wakes up in the body of a different guest at Blackheath Manor. And some of his hosts are more helpful than others.

For fans of Claire North, and Kate Atkinson, The 7½ Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle is a breathlessly addictive mystery that follows one man’s race against time to find a killer, with an astonishing time-turning twist that means nothing and no one are quite what they seem….

This inventive debut twists together a thriller of such unexpected creativity it will leave readers guessing until the very last page.

Recommended in The New York Times, The Guardian, Harper’s Bazaar, Buzzfeed, Vulture, BookRiot, and more.

Colorful Bookish Sundays | Prioritizing Books from my TBR 🩰

Colorful Bookish Sundays | Prioritizing Books from my TBR 🩰

☀️ Hi, guys! I hope you’re having a beautiful day, full of good readings & amazing moments.❤️ Super excited for today’s post, this is the beginning of a new series of super chill posts that I’ll be bringing you every Sunday from now on! YAY!! 🥳 These will be our “Colorful Bookish Sundays” and it will be, basically, to organize my priority list, choosing some books from my Goodreads TBR to add to my list which I’ll check every month when creating my monthly TBRs, that way I hope to start reading those books that I’m most excited about, so they don’t end up in my TBR for years as many of them are already doing  😅
You may not know this, but I have a mini book list that I go to when I build my TBR every month, but it’s super outdated and I’ve been wanting to renew it for a while now, so I thought it would be a fun and different idea to do it, and also share with you the process and know your thoughts, which always helps me a lot to make decisions.

I’m looking to give to this post series a fun and relaxed look, so I decided to show you a specific color every Sunday, I LOVE some good beautiful covers and even more when there’s a beautiful color palette in them, so I think it could be interesting organize them by color, chat a little about them, and as always try to organize myself better with my books and my future readings  😍 & you can know what color we’ll play every Sunday based on the icon that will accompany the title, but I’ll also let you know below.

The dynamic will be to show you the selected books and then separate them by categories to finally make a decision of which one/ones will be my choice to add to my list of priorities and obviously, I would love to know what you think about them!  👏🏻 👏🏻 👏🏻

This is an idea in progress, to be honest with you I’ve been thinking about it for only a couple of days, so there are details that I’m still thinking about and working on, but I’m generally happy to bring you posts on Sundays again, it seems like a fun idea and hopefully, it will be entertaining for both you and me. 🥺  I hope you like it, I know it sounds weird now and you’re probably thinking “Sofi, what are you doing?”  😂  but have patience, I promise I’ll do my best and we’ll see how the idea progresses over time. I LOVE YOU ❤️, thanks for the constant support, it means a lot to me, so now get comfortable, prepare your favorite drink and let’s start! ☀️  Continue reading “Colorful Bookish Sundays | Prioritizing Books from my TBR 🩰”

Bookish Heavenly Virtues Book Tag ☁️

Bookish Heavenly Virtues Book Tag ☁️

☁️ Hi, guys! I hope you’re having a beautiful day, full of good readings & beautiful experiences! ❤️ Today I’ve returned, after months, with a new book tag: “Bookish Heavenly Virtues Book Tag” which looks like a lot of fun, I was tagged by my beloved Orang-utan Librarian last year to make this tag, so I’m very sorry for the delay, but I’m trying to catch up with my nominations and tags, for which I’m more than grateful, you know that! So, THANK YOU SO MUCH, for tagging me, I’m very excited to do this tag and obviously Ilett me tell you, to you reading this post that you need to follow Orang-utan Librarian’s blog, because it’s simply wonderful and I would be surprised if you don’t follow it already, it’s a huge inspiration for me. 🥰

Now before starting to answer the questions, I’d like to clarify, as always, that my opinions aren’t the absolute truth of anything, they’re simply my thoughts and it’s ok that you have contrary thoughts or you don’t agree with me, that’s super respectable and I would love to chat with you in the comments about EVERYTHING you think of each one of these books. 😊  In addition, you may see me making at least one book tag per month of what remains of this 2020 and so I hope I can catch up or at least do my best with all the tags that I’ve been nominated for 🌻, I have them all written down, so I won’t forget any unless I’ve already done it. So I hope you like book tags, and that together we have a lot of fun in the coming months with them. 👏🏻

Now without further ado, let’s get started! 😄 Super excited to share my answers with you all ☁️  Continue reading “Bookish Heavenly Virtues Book Tag ☁️”

Book Bloggers Appreciation | July 2020 💻

Book Bloggers Appreciation | July 2020 💻

💫 Hi, my beautiful friends, I hope you’re having the most amazing day. ❤️ This is a blog post series, where every month I’m highlighting a series of blog posts, from around the book blogger community, that I enjoyed reading or that I think are amazing and deserve more love and recognition. With this, I hope to be able to somehow support other book bloggers more, and I also hope you can find new book blogs to follow or content that interests you or help you. 👏🏻
Maybe the look of this post will be simpler to what you usually see on the blog, but I like this idea and it’s honestly with the simple purpose of supporting each other more and we can find new content in a simple and organized way.
I don’t have a certain amount to I’m highlighting per month, they’re just posts I’ve come across with and I think they’re INCREDIBLE, so I want to share them with you all. I used to make a small top 5 with my favorite posts of the month, but I realized that I had to delete many posts to be able to select only 5, and I don’t think it’s fair, there are SO many wonderful posts and everyone deserves the same love and recognition, so that’s why I decided to make this post apart. 😊

Before starting the post, I want to take this moment to be thankful, because I’m one of the nominees for the 2020 Book Blogger Awards, and I just CAN’T believe it!!! 🎉 THANK YOU SO MUCH, beautiful people for voting for me and for supporting me every day and expressing your love with so many beautiful words, they mean a lot to me and I want you to know that I’ll always remember this moment, it’s super special for me. 😭  I’m nominated for two of the categories, one of them is “Most Supportive” & “Best Recommendations” which means so much to me, because I really work hard to give you the best recs that I can according to each of your tastes & also the fact that being nominated as most supportive means EVERYTHING, I couldn’t be happier, supporting you is what I love the most. 🥺 🥺 🥺
So just THANK YOU, you know you can go to the post and vote for your favorites, it doesn’t have to be me, there are SO MANY bloggers that I love and respect that also deserve this, so simply by giving your vote, you’re already doing something wonderful. THANK YOU, THANK YOU & THANK YOU… I LOVE YOU!!! ❤️❤️❤️

Happy Despicable Me GIF

I hope you enjoy, like and support this idea and let’s start! 💫  Continue reading “Book Bloggers Appreciation | July 2020 💻”

August TBR | #ARCAugust, Latinx Readathon & Trying a New Category! ❄️

August TBR | #ARCAugust, Latinx Readathon & Trying a New Category! ❄️

❄️ Hi, my beautiful bookish friends! I hope you’re having the most incredible day with the best readings.❤️ Today I bring you a new Monthly TBR, where I share with you my reading plans for the month of August. SO excited to be sharing another month of possible readings with you, I always have SO MUCH FUN! Ok, so this month I’ve planned a somewhat ambitious TBR… maybe, I know I’m coming out of my Reading Slump, so all these plans are always keeping in mind that I want to take it easy, but I still wanted to add a little more book options than I usually put, since I’ll be inaugurating a new section in my TBRs from now on, which I hope will help me to be more relaxed with respect to my lists and have a greater variety of options according to my mood. 🤩 Super excited to share it s with you but before, I want to come back to thank you for the incredible July that you’ve made me go through, filled with love and support… THANK YOU, my beautiful friends, here for an even better August. 👏🏻 You know that if you want me to support you with anything you can send me an e-mail or find me on Twitter, I’m always more than happy to give you a hand with what I can & I’ll be doing a LOT of blogs hopping this month, I’m looking forward to seeing that it’s been happening on your blog!  😍

So going back to my reading this August, I have many plans!! First, I want to participate in #ARCAugust because it’s the perfect time to read as many ARCs as possible and so feel more relaxed about it, catching up with them. I have a selection of ARCs that I’m really excited about, I have several sequels, so I’m very much looking forward to seeing what will happen in these stories.
Then I’ll also be participating in the Latinx Readathon, a Readathon hosted by Sofia (Aelin’s Kingdom), Nikkie (Nikkie Reads), Jane Josée (Big Black Books) & ( lou reading things ), I leave you all the links so that you follow these wonderful girls & this Readathon is obviously all about reading books by Latinx authors and/or that the book contains some kind of Latinx representation in them, but it also includes many super fun proms in an incredible bingo that the girls have created. My decision to participate was a last-minute thing because I didn’t know about Readathon, but when I knew it I really had to do it to show my support for this incredible idea and as Latina, I feel super proud of this incredible work, so if you want to join in it’s not too late, you can do it simply by picking up a book from a Latinx author. All the information is in the Twitter account, which you can access by clicking on the name itself and I hope you like it and decide to support the idea! ❤️
I know it will not be possible for me to read a book for each on of the promps because they’re many, so I decided to do a bingo line and I’ll be reading 3 books for that, which I’ll share with you in a moment and I almost forgot, the readathon takes place throughout the whole month of August. 😊

And finally, because this is getting long (to no one’s surprise 😂 ) I want to share with you my new section, where I’ll be piling even more books to add to my TBR, I know it sounds crazy, but my idea is something like this: This section will be called “The Back-Up Pile” in there I’ll have a mini-list with possible readings, what does this mean? Well, sometimes and after going through my reading slump, I realized that my reading mood has been changing a lot and sometimes I don’t feel really motivated to read something that’s already in my TBR originally or maybe I just want to change the genre, so I thought it would be a good idea to have a backup list where I can choose some readings that I already own, some that remain from my past TBR and I didn’t get to read or just new buys and releases that I’m really excited about, in this way I think my TBRs will be more fun and didactical & I’ll also have more options just in case I feel like reading something different during the month.  🥰
I hope you get what I mean, I know it sounds a bit messy, but once I show it to you I know you’ll understand better. Let me know in the comments if you like the idea, if it would be something that would work for you or if you would like to try it, I would love that & obviously, let me know everything about the books in this section, I would LOVE to know your thoughts!  😍

Now, without further ado, I LOVE YOU  🌻 & let the books party begin! ❄️  Continue reading “August TBR | #ARCAugust, Latinx Readathon & Trying a New Category! ❄️”
