👏🏻Hi guys!, I hope you’re having a wonderful day and that you’re surrounded by incredible readings. Today I bring you a post that I’ve seen a lot in the bookish world, especially in Booktube and I figure that I never had one of these in the blog, so I knew that should change. I love doing recommendation posts and I feel that this is a great way to make it more fun 😊
In the post “If You Liked This, Then You’ll Like This!” I’ll show you a book and based on it, I’ll recommend another one that you might like. If you didn’t read the book I’m talking about, but you’ve read the one I recommend instead, then don’t worry, the recommendation works both ways, so no matter which book you liked then you’ll probably like the other one I mention 💕 If you like these types of post, let me know and I’ll continue making a couple more! So, without further ado, let’s start! 👏🏻 Continue reading “If You Liked This, Then You’ll Like This! 👏🏻”→
🌹 Hi guys!, I hope you’re having the best day EVER. First of all, I want to tell you that I love you, you’re amazing and you make me so happy every time you comment on my post! 💞 , I’m like so sentimental today 😅. Well so, here we are, and today I have some recommendations for you, but to make it more fun I would be classifying each book by seasons. My idea is to recommend at least 5 books per season, and based on their plot or if they’re light or kind of slow paced, the location, and you know, all that kind of stuff. This idea came to me since I’ve always wanted to make recommendations or lists for each season but I can’t do them and share them with you, since most of you live in a different hemisphere from mine so it’s a bit messy, for you to get an idea the autumn has just started here. So I thought I could make general recommendations for each season and so, no matter where you live you can check out the book you’re most interested in. I hope you enjoy it and LET’S START! 🌹 Continue reading “🍂❄️ Seasonal Readings || Book Recs for Each Season 🌸☀️”→
💞 Hi, guys, I hope you’re having a beautiful day, full of incredible readings. Today I want to talk a little bit with you and recommend some books that are, for me, worth the hype. These books that I’ll mention below, are books that I’ve read and personally, I’ve LOVED, I recommend each one of them, are fantastic. I know that sometimes the hype can stop you or make you feel insecure when it comes to deciding whether to read a book or not, I know about that, in fact whenever I read a book that has a lot of hype I’m thinking that I’ll hate it and I’ll be the only one with an unpopular opinion, because that’s always what happens to me 😅, but with these books I could really share the passion for. For this reason, I felt that I had to make a top with my favorite readings with a lot of hype because if I like them, I think you would like them, as well. 💞 Continue reading “Books that are Worth the Hype 👏🏻”→
📖 Hi guys!, I hope you’re having an incredible day, getting ready to start an amazing new year, from here, from my little place in the world, I wish you many successes, love, health and work, in this new year that begins. I know that all of you are capable to achieve all your goals! In other news, here we are, and I come to tell you all about my readings of the month, or failing that, the lack of them lol. This month I decided not to do a TBR, I honestly knew that I wouldn’t have much time to read and also I didn’t feel like reading anything specific, so this seemed like a good idea at the time. The good thing is, that I realized that I LOVE and I NEED my TBR, they help me to keep reading, no doubt. The bad thing is, that I’ve read almost nothing and I’m pretty disappointed about it. Although, what I read was good, I expected to do a better job, even more when I was participating in a Read-a-thon as incredible as the Short-a-thon, but well, life got in the way and the results aren’t that good 📖 Continue reading “December Wrap Up & Short-a-thon Fail ”→
☕️ Hi guys, I hope you’re having a great day!. I’m super excited to announce that I’ll be participating in the Short-a-thon, this is a new read-a-thon which I’ll tell you more about below. I think it’s exactly what I needed at this time of year, I’ve been saving short books and novels for this moment since I found out about it and I’m excited to share it with you…
Before telling you everything you need to know about this great read-a-thon, I want to tell you that I will not have a general TBR for the month of December, as we are used to. I love having TBRs and many times they have helped me to keep my reading working as I like, but this month I don’t feel like reading anything specific and I’ve been thinking that what I’ll do is to read whatever appears in my mind and I’ll let myself be guided by my humor and just read what I feel like it, you know?. Even so, I’ll be sharing the books with you throughout the month, and I’ll be uploading reviews of whatever I read, as always. This could be fun, since it will be as much of a surprise to myself as it is to you. I hope it works!🙌🏻
This post is totally inspired by the book I’m currently reading and loving, We Are Okay by Nina LaCour, I’m so close to finish with it, but I don’t want to 😦 I think this will be a favorite! OMG SO GOOD! *Feelings everywhere*. And I was thinking that the two books I’ve added to my list of favorites this year are LGBT books, so I came up with my favorites of the genre and I hope you can recommend me more of them because it’s a genre that I discovered this year, is new to me and makes me soooo happy when I read about, so I really want to add more to my TBRContinue reading “LGBT Books Recs!”→

Eleanor West’s Home for Wayward Children
Children have always disappeared under the right conditions; slipping through the shadows under a bed or at the back of a wardrobe, tumbling down rabbit holes and into old wells, and emerging somewhere… else.
But magical lands have little need for used-up miracle children.
Nancy tumbled once, but now she’s back. The things she’s experienced… they change a person. The children under Miss West’s care understand all too well. And each of them is seeking a way back to their own fantasy world.
But Nancy’s arrival marks a change at the Home. There’s a darkness just around each corner, and when tragedy strikes, it’s up to Nancy and her new-found schoolmates to get to the heart of the matter.
No matter the cost.
