☕️ Hi guys, I hope you’re having a wonderful day!. here I am with a new WWW Wednesday (originally hosted by A Daily Rhythm, and revived by Taking on a World of Words), where I’ll share with you the books that I’ve finished, my current and upcoming readings, and so chat a little about them ☕️ Continue reading “WWW Wednesday #26 | 2020 ☕️”
🌿 Hi, guys! I hope you’re having the best day, surrounded by amazing readings.❤️ Today I decided to start the week with something fun, so I’ll try to guess what books will be 5 stars for me this year. I know I did one of these in the past, but it was a disaster and I ended up not reading any of those books, so this time I’ll make sure that the books I mention are books that I know I’ll be reading during the year and so at the end of 2020, I’ll be able to return with a post telling you all about it. 😊
It’s quite difficult for me to give 5 stars, I tend to be quite demanding with my readings, but I still love this idea, I love to see it on videos and in other posts, so I thought it would be fun to do it myself. It’s also a great incentive to read these books since I’m dying of curiosity to know if they would eventually become 5 stars, even if it would end up being 4.5 stars, it would be wonderful for me.👏🏻
Super excited to share this list with you, each one of these books has a unique concept that resonates with me or I’ve read the authors in the past and I’ve loved their work, so that’s my justification. Now without further ado, let’s start! 🌿
🌙 Hi, guys! I hope you’re having a wonderful day full of good readings. Super excited cause I decided to start with this new weekly series, which will be focused on helping me clean my Goodreads shelves and also prioritize some readings and organize myself in general. I LOVE this idea, I know that many of you already know it and do it as well, the creator is the incredible Destiny | Howling Libraries | 💫 whom I love as a human being and I respect a lot as a book blogger ❤️, so it’s really a pleasure to start with this new project especially because it’s created by someone who I admire a lot and that makes me very happy, I also really need help to organize my books, So here we go! 👏🏻
Of course, if you don’t follow Destiny yet, I’ll leave you the link to do it, she’s a super creative and incredible being, so I know you’ll not regret it, she has just opened her YouTube channel (super proud), so it’s the perfect time to meet her and follow her. 😊
- Link back to the original post at Howling Libraries
- Sort your Goodreads TBR shelf by date added, ascending
- Find 5-10 (or more, if you feel ambitious!) titles to purge from your TBR (the “lows”)
- ALTERNATIVE OPTION: Find 5+ titles that are at the BOTTOM of your TBR—books you want to read someday, just not right now!
- Post those 5 books in the list, with a brief explanation
- Next, sort your Goodreads TBR shelf by date added, descending
- List the last 5 (or more!) books you added to your TBR, with a synopsis or your brief summary of why you added it (the “highs”)
This weekly meme has its rules of course, as you see, but I also wanted to give it my own twist to make it more fun and also fit my needs or what I hope to do with my books and my readings. So I’ve decided that as well as Destiny, I’ll be opening voting every week so that you can participate in the whole process and help me decide which books to prioritize, for this I’ll ask you to vote for one of the books in the “LOWS” section and at not only I’ll be adding it to my priority list, but I’ll also be creating my own TBR Jar with each of your choices!. So, every week the book you choose from my selection will be added to my TBR Jar and then at the end of the month, I’ll choose one of them to read and finally give a real chance to it. I’ll not be removing all my “LOWS”, only some if necessary, maybe one per week or sometimes none, I’ll be super honest about them and I hope you can help me make a decision anything can happen in these posts! LOL 🥰
I hope you like this idea, I think it will be fun, I’ll be cleaning my Goodreads shelves a bit, which is great, but you can also participate in the process and so will have a super interactive experience, so we can all have a little fun ❤️. I hope you enjoy it, thanks for the support always, from the bottom of my heart & LET’S START! 🌙
💫 Hi, my beautiful bookish people, I hope you’re having the most amazing day. 💞 This is a blog post series, where every month I’ll highlight a series of blog posts, from around the book blogger community, that I enjoyed reading or that I think are amazing and deserve more love and recognition. With this, I hope to be able to somehow support other book bloggers more, and I also hope you can find new book blogs to follow or content that interests you or help you.
Maybe the look of this post will be simpler to what you usually see on the blog, but I like this idea and it’s honestly with the simple purpose of supporting each other more and we can find new content in a simple and organized way.
I don’t have a certain amount to I’m highlighting per month, they’re just posts I’ve come across with and I think they’re INCREDIBLE, so I want to share them with you all. I used to make a small top 5 with my favorite posts of the month, but I realized that I had to delete many posts to be able to select only 5, and I don’t think it’s fair, there are SO many wonderful posts and everyone deserves the same love and recognition, so that’s why I decided to make this post apart. 😊
I hope you enjoy, like and support this idea. I LOVE YOU 🥰 and let’s start! 💫
🎍 Hi, my beautiful bookish friends! I hope you’re having the most incredible day with the best readings.❤️ Today I bring you a new Monthly TBR, where I share with you my reading plans for the month of January. I’m SO SO excited because this is the first post of this 2020!!! 🎊 So before I start HAPPY NEW YEAR, guys! My best wishes to you & your family, I hope this year is full of success and enriching situations, of learning and much growth in all areas of your life, from here I send you all my good energy and vibes so that this new year begins wonderfully.
So here we are!, VERY grateful that you’re still there and decide to share another year with me, it’s a blessing, today I’m very excited to share everything I plan to read during the month of January. 🥰
As I mentioned while planning my personal new reading challenges for this 2020, I decided to focus on reading some of the old popular YA trilogies/duologies/series that I’ve had on my bookshelf forever and haven’t read yet, I think and I hope it’s something entertaining for you, I want to read the entire series in the month and then I’ll make a unique post talking about each of the books, maybe with mini-reviews and stuffs. 👏🏻 What I’ve done is put a poll on Twitter so that everyone can vote and for this month we already have a winner, so super grateful for all the people who have voted, the winning series has almost the 60% of the votes, so I’m very excited to finally read it (I’ll tell you more about it down below)
Then I also have 3 ARCs for this month, I really didn’t expect them to be SO many but still, I’m excited to read them, I have 2 high-fantasies that I’m dying to share with you and a romance that sounds adorable. 😍
After EVERYTHING, and I know that I’m being ambitious, but hey, it’s what I want to do this year so let’s act as if it were normal 😂, I want to try to read a couple of popular romance books of 2019. I told you I wanted to start to read genres that I almost never read and since I already have a LOT of fantasy in my TBR for the month, I thought it would be a good idea to read a lighter romance, especially since it’s summer where I live and I would love to have some light options to take to the Beach.😎
This introduction is already much longer than I expected 😅, but I wanted to be able to explain my plans well to you, so now without further ado, let’s start with one of MANY TBRs to come! 🎍
🌾 Hi guys!! I hope you’re having the best day & you’re enjoying your reading 💞 Today I bring you my beloved Wrap Up of the month of December, where I’ll talk about all the books I’ve read during the month. This is officially the last Wrap Up of 2019, guys! Isn’t that crazy? This year really flew for me, but it has been in summary a great blessing in terms of my blogging life and a great learning and growth journey in my personal life. So I’m super happy to have gone through all these experiences to get where I am today, but also super ready to start a 2020 with renewed energy and many projects. 🥰
Before I start, I can’t say goodbye to this year without thanking you for being there for me, honestly and from the bottom of my heart, you don’t know how much your comments and “likes” mean, all your interactions with me on Twitter, I’ve met wonderful people of generous souls and also bloggers who inspire me every day, so I just grateful and I’m very excited to share another year with you, so I hope you decide to stay because nothing would make me happier and there’s much more I want to share with you. ❤️ 🌟
In terms of reading this month has been a bit crazy, of course and as expected, I ended up reading much less than I planned, but still, I feel satisfied with what I’ve read because I fulfilled my goal that was to end with two trilogies that I’ve really loved, I’m kind of nostalgic about it but it’s also a great experience, so I’ll talk more about it below. I’ve also dedicated myself to start reading my first ARC of 2020 and an author has been kind enough to send me his work also to review and it has been a great experience, so I feel happy about it. 😄 👏🏻
I think that in general, I’ve been much more focused on planning for next year in terms of my life and the blog and things related to my reading and writing, of which I tell you everything in the post of my goals if you want to check it out, and also I’m planning to do a new reading journal again for next year but try new things and I’m quite entertained with it, watching videos and things, I’m obsessed, I cannot lie. I feel like a little girl buying pens and things for my notebook 😂
So I’ve read a very large book, so I’m pleased with myself, and although I had time to read something else before the end of the month, I didn’t want to force myself, I’ve already achieved my Goodreads Challenge, I’ve read 63 books in total this year, which is great, so I don’t feel pressure and I thought it was best to take it easy and use the time to plan things for the next year instead. 😊
So super excited to share with you what I’ve read during the month and also as always, I’ll be sharing my favorite posts and some more detailed statistics. I LOVE YOU and THANK YOU again for always being there, I see you 🌾 Continue reading “December Wrap Up || Finishing Trilogies & Prioritizing 2020 Plans 🌾”
