February TBR | First TBR Jar Pick of the Year, ARCs & Witchy Reads πŸŽ

February TBR | First TBR Jar Pick of the Year, ARCs & Witchy Reads πŸŽ

 🎍 Hi, my beautiful bookish friends! I hope you’re having the most incredible day with the best readings.❀️ Today I bring you a new Monthly TBR, where I share with you my reading plans for the month of February. This is a super special month for me because it’s my birthday month! YAY! 🎊 I’ve never been a fan of celebrating my birthdays, but this year I feel so blessed with so many good things in my life that I’m really super excited about it and besides being able to celebrate my 26 years with you, nothing makes me happier! 😭 And for this special month, I’ve planned a special stack of books to enjoy and share with you.
I think that seeing the whole picture I had a very good January in readings, I’ve read a lot, I’ve almost completed my TBR and I’ve also reached a record for me in pages read, so I’m very excited to continue with that streak during the year and obviously in this February.

Speaking about my readings, I’m super excited to tell you that I’ll be participating in the #Februwitchy readathon hosted by Asha | A Cat, A Book, and A Cup Of Tea | This readathon takes place throughout the month of February and there’s no specific rule you just have to read books about witchesΒ πŸ§™β€β™€οΈΒ , and it works both if it has the name witch in the title as if it’s specifically about witches, you know? I leave the link in case you’re interested and want to know more, all you have to do is sing up in a Google Doc, the one that Asha provides you and there you can add your TBR and your books read during the month. It will be a lot of fun! so if you like witches I recommend you check it out. Personally, I’ll not be reading ONLY about witches, but I do have a small stack that has been reserved to participate because you know that I LOVE witchesΒ πŸ‘πŸ»Β and there are several books that I’ve been wanting to read for a while, so it’s perfect, I’m doing this as a gift for myself in my birthday month & nothing can be better. 😍

Then I also have a couple of ARCs, as always, which I feel absolutely blessed to be able to read before their release date & in addition to ALL of this, I have a book that I’ve been wanting to read for months now, with another one that I’ve chosen from my TBR Jar. As you know, I’ve started doing the Lows & Highs posts every Sunday in order to clean my TBR and from there you have chosen a book every week, a book that has gone directly to my TBR Jar, so from there I have chosen one for the month, and I’m a little scared about it, but I think it will be fun to know what I think and share it with you. 😊  So without further ado, I want to jump right into to show you everything I plan to read in the month of February, I hope you enjoy it and thanks for being there ALWAYSΒ πŸ’ž, you’re amazing. 🎍 Continue reading “February TBR | First TBR Jar Pick of the Year, ARCs & Witchy Reads πŸŽ”

Top 5 || Sci-Fi Books I Want to Read in 2020 πŸš€

Top 5 || Sci-Fi Books I Want to Read in 2020 πŸš€

Β πŸš€Β Hi, guys! I hope you ‘re having the best day ever and that you ‘re enjoying your reading!❀️ Today I bring you a new Top 5 because seems like I’ve become addicted to themΒ πŸ˜… , and I thought it would be fun to add some challenge, so in this “top 5” I’ll be sharing with you some sci-fi books that I want to try to read in this 2020.
This is a huge challenge for me because this genre has always been a hit or miss, but I thought it would be fun to see what I think about those who most attract my attention right now. In this list I’ll be showing you 5 sci-fi books that I think sound great, they’re also very popular and loved & they’re also books that are mostly located in space or on other planets, that’s why I’ve chosen them. We know that there are many types of sci-fi, but the only ones that represent a challenge for me are those that have to do with space things, spaceships travel and universe planets, so obviously that will be what I’ll be trying to read.  🌌
I would never do this if I don’t think that there’s a possibility that I enjoy these books, I used to judge the genre a lot, to the point that I closed myself to want to read more because while I enjoy a lot of technological, alien things and time travel stuff, the things that happen in spaceships are another story. So, what changed my mind so I want to try again with this kind of genre? well, I read a book last year that I absolutely LOVED and made me re-think the idea that maybe I can enjoy space things and that was: Skyward by Brandon Sanderson, not only was amazing but it was in my top of favorite books of the year, it was a great surprise for me to enjoy it so much, so I thought, let’s do it! I’m going to put myself on this kind of annual challenge and obviously, you’ll witness my progress during 2020. I’ll not have any type of restriction to myself, by this I mean that if I’m not really enjoying the book, then I’ll not have problems and I’ll no doubt In “DNF”, this is just an experiment where I intend to see if I really have a real problem with this genre or I just haven’t read the indicated books, so this pretend to be fun and entertaining especially for me, in the first place, so if stop being it, I’ll stop and put at end to this relationship. Β πŸ˜‚Β
It can be fun but it can also be a disaster so we’ll see what happens, it will surely be interesting. I hope you like the idea and decide to join me in this space adventure.Β πŸ₯°Β
Now without further ado, let’s start!Β πŸš€Β  Continue reading “Top 5 || Sci-Fi Books I Want to Read in 2020 πŸš€”

So here we are!, VERY grateful that you’re still there and decide to share another year with me, it’s a blessing, today I’m very excited to share everything I plan to read during the month of January. πŸ₯°
As I mentioned while planning my personal new reading challenges for this 2020, I decided to focus on reading some of the old popular YA trilogies/duologies/series that I’ve had on my bookshelf forever and haven’t read yet, I think and I hope it’s something entertaining for you, I want to read the entire series in the month and then I’ll make a unique post talking about each of the books, maybe with mini-reviews and stuffs. πŸ‘πŸ» What I’ve done is put a poll on Twitter so that everyone can vote and for this month we already have a winner, so super grateful for all the people who have voted, the winning series has almost the 60% of the votes, so I’m very excited to finally read it (I’ll tell you more about it down below)
Then I also have 3 ARCs for this month, I really didn’t expect them to be SO many but still, I’m excited to read them, I have 2 high-fantasies that I’m dying to share with you and a romance that sounds adorable. 😍
After EVERYTHING, and I know that I’m being ambitious, but hey, it’s what I want to do this year so let’s act as if it were normal πŸ˜‚, I want to try to read a couple of popular romance books of 2019. I told you I wanted to start to read genres that I almost never read and since I already have a LOT of fantasy in my TBR for the month, I thought it would be a good idea to read a lighter romance, especially since it’s summer where I live and I would love to have some light options to take to the Beach.😎
This introduction is already much longer than I expected πŸ˜…, but I wanted to be able to explain my plans well to you, so now without further ado, let’s start with one of MANY TBRs to come! 🎍

Ambitious December TBR || Trying to Finish & Continue Series + Some ARCs || 2019 πŸ’«

Ambitious December TBR || Trying to Finish & Continue Series + Some ARCs || 2019 πŸ’«

πŸ’«Β Hi guys! I hope you’re having a beautiful day!Β πŸ’ž Today I bring you my TBR for the month of October, where I’ll tell you everything I’ll be reading during the month. I think I’ve already said this like a million times but … OMG, I can’t believe it’s December, it’s crazy for me to think we’ll be going into a new year soon!! Even so, I’m super ready for it, I LOVE new yearsΒ πŸŽ‰. So, here we are! In another TBR, I miss making TBRs so much when I don’t do them, I didn’t have one in November since I knew I couldn’t read much, but now guys, I feel quite ambitious. My only and great plan is to end the year with the most series completed or at least continue reading those in which I’ve only read the first book, so I can start the year more relaxed about it and ready to start new series!, you know? like it feels right to me to do this. 😊
I know that there are several read-a-thons happening this month, they all seem incredible to me, but I’ve decided that I’ll not participate in any until next year where one of my goals is to participate in more, but this month I’m sure that my goal is the right thing to do. In addition to those sequels/endings that I plan to read, I also have a couple of ARCs that I’m so blessed to be able to read, so I’m also very excited about them.Β πŸ’ƒπŸ»Β

I also plan to take this December to plan several things for next year and organize myself, that’s another of my main goals, to organize everything that is in my mind, my ideas for posts, new challenges that I want to do to myself, all those things.Β πŸ‘πŸ»Β I want to have things under control to be able to enter to 2020 super ready for everything. I’m really excited you guys!!. Also this month, we all know, it’s THE month for fun posts to do, we’ll have “my favorite readings”, “my least favorite” and that kind of things which are always so fun to do. I’m not just excited to make them myself, but also to see your posts, it will be a great month, I can feel it!Β πŸ₯°Β *sending all my good vibes to you*

I know that November has been super crazy for me in terms of reading, but I’m really super ready to make of December a great closing of the year, I also want to commit to visiting many many posts and blogs this month, I know the great work you put into your blog, so I want to show you all my love in these holidays times. I LOVE you and I hope you have a wonderful month!! ❀️
Now, without further ado, I’m dying to share with you all about my readings, SO much fantasy … so, Let’s Start!Β πŸ’«Β  Continue reading “Ambitious December TBR || Trying to Finish & Continue Series + Some ARCs || 2019 πŸ’«”

October TBR || Spooky & Witchy Reads + some ARCs || 2019 πŸŒ˜

October TBR || Spooky & Witchy Reads + some ARCs || 2019 πŸŒ˜

🌘 Hi guys! I hope you’re having a beautiful day!Β πŸ’ž Today I bring you my TBR for the month of October, where I’ll tell you everything I’ll be reading during the month. Finally, the horror month has arrived and I’m super excited for it, I’ve been planning a lot and changing my TBR like crazy, so I hope to have put together a good stack and enjoy the majority of them. Despite having 2 ARCs that I really have to read in October, I’ll be focusing on those mysterious, spooky vibes or witchy books that I’ve had in my TBR for some time now, or that I just really want to read. This type of books where something magical happens or is located in a creepy place or is absolutely atmospheric, are my favorite readings for the whole year, but it feels even more special to read them during October since most of us will be reading the same things, so it will be fun to exchange opinions and know more about you own picks, I always LOVE to know! 😍 I also plan to watch some movies this month, I haven’t watched almost anything in September, and I really love watching movies so I’ll be looking for some horror to check out, so if you have any recommendations, let me know in the comments, that would be great! 🧑
I’m very very happy for the great success that my September has been in terms of reading, so this month I feel somewhat ambitious, I don’t want to exaggerate because we all know where that ends, but I do want to at least try to read those books that I’ve wanted to read since that came out and prioritize them.Β πŸ‘πŸ»Β I know this month is full of incredible read-a-thons, but I’ve decided to stay out of them this year because I’ve been participating in too many and I just want to read relaxedly what I’ve already chosen, no pressure, you know?. Don’t misunderstand me, though, I love read-a-thons and you know it, especially since they push you to read a little more and get out of your comfort zone, but this month I don’t feel like pressure, so I think it’s the best decision. Even so, I’ll be following all of you who participate, because I adore this kind of spooky read-a-thons and I’m already dying to know that you’ll be reading. 😊

Β πŸ’«Β In other news, as I do every year, I’ll be taking a two-week vacation and we’ll go on a trip with my boyfriend, I’ll be leaving on October 28 and I’ll be away for most of November.Β πŸ€—Β Β
As you know, this doesn’t mean that I’ll not be checking your posts from time to time, but it does mean that I’ll not be uploading content and maybe I don’t read much either. Personally, I feel that it’s something that I need to do for myself, my mind and my health, so it’s a mini-rest thing and then I’ll return as usual.
I’ll probably have my Wrap Up quite early in the month, but well, closer to the date I’ll let you know again.Β πŸ’«Β

Lastly, and before I begin, I want to thank you as I do every month for the support and love that you give me with each “comment” and “like”, it means the world for me to have you and only a few days ago I received the notification that my traffic has grown, and I have no words, it really is a blessing and I thank the universe for having created the blog because the connections I’ve made with you all will be forever. I LOVE YOU and I hope you have the most wonderful month ❀️
Now without further ado let’s start, I have a lot to show you 🌘 Continue reading “October TBR || Spooky & Witchy Reads + some ARCs || 2019 πŸŒ˜”

Contemporary-A-Thon TBR || Round #5 || 2019 πŸ’›

Contemporary-A-Thon TBR || Round #5 || 2019 πŸ’›

 🌟 Hi, my beautiful bookish people, I hope you’re having an incredible start to the week, full of light and good energy, I send you from here all my love!Β πŸ’•Β  Today I bring you as you can see by the title my TBR for this fifth round of the Contemporary-A-Thon, I’d already told you that I would be participating so it’s not a surprise, but I hadn’t yet show you what I’ll be reading, so this post is exclusively for this and so, of course, for you to tell me if you’ll be participating and what you’ll be reading! I would love to know. 😊
Contemporary-A-Thon is a read-a-thon that I’ve already participated in a couple of times and I really LOVE it, you know that I love fantasy so sometimes I forget about my contemporary books a bit and this is the perfect opportunity for me to concentrate on them and try to read some. I know that I’m not a fast reader so because of this, I’ll not be making an impossibly long TBR, on the contrary, I’ve put together a list where I could comfortably pass all the challenges finishing only 1 book, obviously that wouldn’t be fun, so I’m adding 2 books more, so I have a TBR of 3 books, so I’m quite pleased with my small stack and I’m very excited to talk to you about them.
it’s going to be running from Monday 9/23 to Sunday 9/29, so if you want to know more about it and you want to participate, then I’ll leave Chelsea’s video here below, where you can clarify all your doubts and you can also see the promps.Β πŸ‘πŸ»Β
I know that the read-a-thon starts today, but I don’t know if I can start it lol, maybe I’ll start tomorrow because today is my 7 year anniversary with my boyfriend and obviously we ll be celebrating that and I’m probably not even be at home today, but I’ll try and do my best, the important thing is having fun, right?. Now, without further ado, let’s start!🌟 Continue reading “Contemporary-A-Thon TBR || Round #5 || 2019 πŸ’›”

September TBR || Mood Reading, ARCs & Participating in Another Read-A-Thon || πŸŒ»

September TBR || Mood Reading, ARCs & Participating in Another Read-A-Thon || πŸŒ»

🌻 Hi guys! I hope you’re having a beautiful day! πŸ’ž Today I bring you my TBR for the month of September, where I’ll tell you everything I’ll be reading during the month. This month will be a little different, though, Spring begins this month here where I live 🌺 , and I’m so excited by the spring weather a little warmer and rainier, I love that, so this weather makes me feel quite like reading, but I’m not sure of what, that’s why I bring you a kind of different TBR because although I know that I’ll be reading a couple of ARCs, and I will also be participating in a read-a-thon, I don’t know very well what I feel like reading. πŸ€”Β
I always tend to show you my TBR with which I feel very comfortable and I always try to read the books that I include there, I’m a control freak so I like thatΒ πŸ˜‚, but this month I feel a little adventurous, I feel that I’m not 100% sure of anything, as I mentioned, so I’ll show you a stack of my possible readings and then I’ll pick up from that stack whatever I feel like reading at that time. It will be a month of reading mood or something, right? will be a lot of fun! You can also help me decide what to read, telling me your opinions about these books, you know that I love knowing what you think, talking to you is my a pleasure.Β πŸ’•

I’ll be participating in another read-a-thon this month and I’ll be trying not to fail miserably, again lol, which will be fun to see for you, I’m sure. I’m participating in the Contemporary-a-Thon, I never want to miss this one because I really love it, it’s one of my faves read-a-thons, so I can’t wait to show you what I’m going to be reading during that week, it’s going to be running from Monday 9/23 to Sunday 9/29, so my TBR will be up closer to that date.πŸ“šΒ If you want to know more about it and you want to participate, then I’ll leave Chelsea‘s video here below, where you can clarify all your doubts and you can also see the promps. I hope you decide to participate, really, it will be a lot of fun and whenever I participate I find a new favorite, so I’m excited to try again in this Round 5. 😍

Before jumping directly to my TBR, I want to tell you that I know that I’ve been missing and I haven’t been commenting on as many blogs as I usually do, but this month I’ll return. You know that I love to support you, being there for you is a priority for me and I want to make it happen more this monthΒ πŸ’ž. Now, without further ado, let’s get started! 🌻  Continue reading “September TBR || Mood Reading, ARCs & Participating in Another Read-A-Thon || πŸŒ»”
