 🕸 Hi, my beautiful bookish friends!! I hope you’re having the best day and a very happy start to the week, I also wish you’re enjoying your current reading, and I want to say, that if you aren’t doing it, honey put that book down for a while and take something else, life is made to enjoy!❤️ Today I’m very excited because I want to talk about spooky books, you already know that I love this season, I love reading books with creepy atmospheres and spooky/mysterious plots, so this time I want us to talk about those books that I have on my TBR, which obviously I haven’t yet read, but I get really excited about because the promises really sound like something I love, besides sounds super addictive and mysterious. All the books I’ll mention below are super different from each other but all have in common the fact that, for me, they’re perfect to read at this time of year. Since I already made my post of spooky books recommendations, then I thought it would be fun to share with you those books that I still have on my TBR, because I think it’s the perfect occasion for you to add some to your own TBR and also tell me what you think of them if you’ve already read them, because you know that I’d love to know! 🥰
I have A LOT of books with spooky themes on my TBR, so this time I made a top 10 with those with whom I’m more excited. I hope you share your opinions with me and maybe you’ll find some books that you hadn’t yet heard about, to read this season 👏🏻. I hope you enjoy it, I really want to share this list with you, so let’s start! 🕸

I have many thoughts to share with you about both books, stories quite different from each other, but they share a point and it is that both are VERY shocking & heartbreaking.

Book Recommendations || Spooky Edition 🕯️

Book Recommendations || Spooky Edition 🕯️

🕯️ Hi guys! I hope you’re having a wonderful day, full of fantastic readings. 🧡 Today I was really looking forward to bringing you some recommendations, you know that I love to recommend books that I’ve read and enjoyed, but I haven’t done one of these in a while and I need to change that, so here I am! 👏🏻
Because Halloween is very close and October is the horror month, I’ve decided to make of this post a top 5 with some of my favorite spooky readings. I don’t usually read much horror, really, but I do love reading books with creepy atmospheres and dark stories, mystery, and suspense, so each of these books will surely have some of those characteristics. They may not be books that scare you to death, but they’ll surely make you live a whole experience of tension and suspense, on the edge of your seat. 😱
I hope you enjoy the post and that you decide to read some of these disturbing stories, I’ll really recommend each one of them and I would love to know your thoughts.

P.S: My intention with this post isn’t just to recommend books that I loved, but I also think that these are spooky books I don’t hear about too much and I believe with all my soul that they deserve greater recognition because they’re BRILLANT, the books, and their authors. I hope I can surprise you with books you haven’t heard enough about yet, and hopefully, you can find a new favorite  💫

I’m super excited so … let’s get started! 🕯️ Continue reading “Book Recommendations || Spooky Edition 🕯️”

The Sunshine Blogger Award || #3 🌙

The Sunshine Blogger Award || #3 🌙

🌙 Hi guys!! I hope you’re having a beautiful and wonderful day, full of incredible readings. 💕 As I told you, I’m trying to catch up with my tags and awards, so that’s what I’m doing today. I’ve been nominated 5 months ago, kind of, for the incredible Cait || GoodeyReads ||🌹 I’m super grateful for the nomination and I’m very sorry that it took me so long to do it, but better late than never, right? 😅. I highly recommend that you check Cait’s blog, she and her content are great, so you can’t miss it!. As always, I hope that we can chat a little about each question, I would like you to know your own answer in the comments and tell me what you think about my answers and about how my mind works, I think it’s always interesting and fun to talk about bookish and not-bookish things with you. 🥰

Before I started, I wanted to share with you my little frustration of the week, I know you’ll probably tell me that it’s not a big deal, but I wanted to read at least my 2 ARCs this week to bring you my reviews, since both were released the same day, but things are a little crazy in my life right now and I couldn’t do it. ☁️ We have discovered that my mother will have to go through surgery, thanks to God and the universe it’s nothing serious, but as it will be the first time she went through this type of intervention I’ve been there for her and taking care of everything so that she can be calm and not worry about anything else, that’s why I’ve neglected my readings a little, I guess my mind has been elsewhere. I don’t tell you this to victimize myself, I just really wanted to bring you the content in time and I couldn’t, so I wanted to let you know why, and I also want you to know that it will be arriving very soon. ☁️  I’m currently reading The Grace Year by Kim Liggett and spoilers alert… I’M LOVING IT. So stay tuned for my review very soon. I LOVE YOU and I always appreciate your support, I swear I feel you very close despite the distances ❤️

Well, I don’t want to make this any longer than it is, so without further ado, let’s start and I hope you really enjoy the post and I wish you have the most beautiful weekend. 🌙 Continue reading “The Sunshine Blogger Award || #3 🌙”

Synopsis

From the New York Times bestselling author of the National Book Award longlist title The Poet X comes a dazzling novel in prose about a girl with talent, pride, and a drive to feed the soul that keeps her fire burning bright.

Ever since she got pregnant freshman year, Emoni Santiago’s life has been about making the tough decisions—doing what has to be done for her daughter and her abuela. The one place she can let all that go is in the kitchen, where she adds a little something magical to everything she cooks, turning her food into straight-up goodness.

Even though she dreams of working as a chef after she graduates, Emoni knows that it’s not worth her time to pursue the impossible. Yet despite the rules she thinks she has to play by, once Emoni starts cooking, her only choice is to let her talent break free.
