🌵 Hi guys! I hope you’re having a beautiful and wonderful day, full of incredible readings. 🥰 We’ve been having quite a few intense days in my country, when you see this I’ll be on day 8 of the mandatory quarantine and there’s a tense environment in general, not only in my country as such, but in the world, I see that you get into any social network and this is all people talked about right now, so I don’t want to make this one more paragraph, you know? I just want to send you my best energy, I hope you can stay at home doing quarantine, in case you have to work outside take care of yourself.❤️ My boyfriend has an “essential work” so he has to leave the house to work and I suffer a lot every time he leaves, it’s really a lot of stress, but I know and I trust that everything will improve soon if we all put a little of ourselves. 😊
Leaving this behind, today I propose you to relax a little and focus on having a fun time with me. I really wanted today to give you something super chill and simple, but at the same time, I also wanted to share a little bit of myself, as always, so this nomination for this wonderful Award has been perfect for me.  😍
I want to thank Tammy | Tammy’s Reading / Writing Life | from the bottom of my heart for nominating me, I’m so sorry for the delay with which I’m doing it, but I promise that I’m slowly catching up and I highly appreciate each one of the people who think of me at the time of nominating or tagging, it makes me feel deeply honored! 💞
I’ll be answering some of her questions, they’re exactly what I need to take a relaxing moment with my coffee and you and chat a little, you know that I love to know what you think, so let me know everything in the comments & without further ado, let’s start!! 🌵 Continue reading “The Sunshine Blogger Award | #5 🌵”

Synopsis

Rowan has gone rogue, and has taken it upon himself to put the Scythedom through a trial by fire. Literally. In the year since Winter Conclave, he has gone off-grid, and has been striking out against corrupt scythes—not only in MidMerica, but across the entire continent. He is a dark folk hero now—“Scythe Lucifer”—a vigilante taking down corrupt scythes in flames.

Citra, now a junior scythe under Scythe Curie, sees the corruption and wants to help change it from the inside out, but is thwarted at every turn, and threatened by the “new order” scythes. Realizing she cannot do this alone—or even with the help of Scythe Curie and Faraday, she does the unthinkable, and risks being “deadish” so she can communicate with the Thunderhead—the only being on earth wise enough to solve the dire problems of a perfect world. But will it help solve those problems, or simply watch as perfection goes into decline?

Discussion Post: Rating Systems | Are They Really Important? 📝

Discussion Post: Rating Systems | Are They Really Important? 📝

⚡️ Hi guys, I hope you’re having an AMAZING day, full of good readings! 💞 Today I bring you another discussion post! (super excited), It’s something that really makes me happy to have started doing this year and I don’t want to start without thanking you for the support you have given me in my previous posts, it means the world to me. So, I love checking out this type of posts around the blogosphere, so I think it could be fun to start writing them myself and share with you so we can all talk about different topics related to the literary world, books & bloggingIn the past I’ve felt kind of insecure about doing this because English isn’t my first language and something in my mind was afraid that my concepts wouldn’t be understood correctly, you know? But you know what? I stop being afraid this 2020 and I’m really encouraging and daring to new things, I also feel much more confident with my writing and I know that you’ll understand me, so it really shouldn’t be a problem. 🥰

Today I come back with a slightly lighter discussion perhaps than my previous ones, we’ll talk and focus on Rating Systems, how important this is for our reviews or when rating our readings and what meaning they have for me personally. I think it’s interesting to be able to talk a little about this topic, I think it’s not very touched so I am dying to know your opinion about it. We’ll gradually see each point that I think is important or interesting to discuss on this topic and then we’ll be able to chat in the comments, which is always a blessing! ❤️
If you want to check more of my discussion posts I have 2 others because I’ve just started doing it, so I’m very excited… if you have the opportunity to check them out t would mean a lot to me: The first is all about Book Reviews & the second is all about The Meaning of being an International Book Blogger.
I LOVE you, THANK YOU SO SO MUCH, for the support 😊, I don’t want to stop saying it, I feel honored to you to be in my life and that you allow me to be in a piece of yours. So without further ado, let’s get started! & I hope you enjoy it ⚡️ Continue reading “Discussion Post: Rating Systems | Are They Really Important? 📝”

TBR Lows & Highs #11 🌙

TBR Lows & Highs #11 🌙

🌙 Hi, guys! I hope you’re having a wonderful day full of good readings. Super excited cause this weekly series will be focused on helping me clean my Goodreads shelves and also prioritize some readings and organize myself in general. I LOVE this idea, I know that many of you already know it and do it as well, the creator is the incredible Destiny | Howling Libraries | 💫 whom I love as a human being and I respect a lot as a book blogger ❤️, so it’s really a pleasure to start with this new project especially because it’s created by someone who I admire a lot and that makes me very happy, I also really need help to organize my books, So here we go! 👏🏻

I wanted to give it my own twist to make it more fun and also fit my needs or what I hope to do with my books and my readings. So I’ve decided that as well as Destiny, I’ll be opening voting every week so that you can participate in the whole process and help me decide which books to prioritize, for this: I’ll ask you to vote for one of the books in the “LOWS” section and not only I’ll be adding it to my priority list, but I’ll also be creating my own TBR Jar with each of your choices!. So, every week the book you choose from my selection will be added to my TBR Jar and then at the end of the month, I’ll choose one of them to read and finally give a real chance to it. I’ll not be removing all my “LOWS”, only some if necessary, maybe one per week or sometimes none, I’ll be super honest about them and I hope you can help me make a decision anything can happen in these posts! LOL 🥰

I hope you like this idea, I think it will be fun, I’ll be cleaning my Goodreads shelves a bit, which is great, but you can also participate in the process and so will have a super interactive experience, so we can all have a little fun ❤️. I hope you enjoy it, thanks for the support always, from the bottom of my heart & LET’S START 🌙 Continue reading “TBR Lows & Highs #11 🌙”

Top 5 | Books Featuring Amazing Sibling Relationships 👯‍♀️

Top 5 | Books Featuring Amazing Sibling Relationships 👯‍♀️

🌟 Hi, guys! I hope you’re having the most wonderful day, I hope you’re staying in your home safe, I LOVE you and I send you all my positive energy from here.❤️ Today I bring you a post that I’ve wanted to do for a while, but lately, I’ve read a book that has inspired me, so I thought it was time to do it. Maybe you already know this because I repeat it in each review of each book lol, but basically, I’m a HUGE fan of brotherhood/sisterhood dynamics in books, in fact, many times I enjoy much more to see this type of relationship and their evolution, as also of the family in general, than the romantic one. 😍 So I thought it would be a fun idea to bring you a kind of “recommendation post” but also a top 5, with my favorite siblings relationships in books, but also I’ll give you a small bonus where I’ll share with you another top 5 of books featuring and having siblings relationships that are on my TBR, so you can have more options. 👏🏻
Most of the books that I’ll share with you don’t have the siblings bond as the central point of the plot, but as a strong and important complement that makes the plot move or there’s also a lot of support between these brothers. On the other hand, I also want to mention that this time I try to choose healthy relationships that grow and become solid, powerful and full of love and support. Maybe another day, if you like this concept, I could make a top 5, on the contrary, showing you this type of books, but about darker and twisted sibling relationships, I also have a couple of those that I’ve read and they’re very shocked and good too. 🤔 But well, we’ll start here and I’m super excited to share with you since also many of these books are my favorites of all times, so I hope you decide to give them a chance and let me know in the comments everything you think about it, both about the idea and also what you think about sibling relationships in books, I would love to know! 🥰 Now, without further ado, let’s start! 🌟 Continue reading “Top 5 | Books Featuring Amazing Sibling Relationships 👯‍♀️”

To 10 | Most Intimidating Books On my TBR 🌵

To 10 | Most Intimidating Books On my TBR 🌵

🌵 Hi, guys! I hope you’re having the most wonderful day and an incredible half week.❤️

⚡️ Before starting, I have to talk a little about what is happening in the world right now regarding COVID-19, In Argentina right now we have 56 cases, two dead and some people recovered, this can change and possibly will do so, over the days. I try not to do it so much on Twitter for example because I know that EVERYONE is talking about it, and there’s a lot of information and really although I feel that it’s a time where we all need to remain calm about it and take good care of ourselves, I wouldn’t want it to overwhelm any of you. So I decide to talk about it briefly here, especially to tell you that I hope you’re safe and that although it’s necessary to stay calm, you have to also know how important it is to take care of ourselves at this moment, not only for ourselves but also for others. Wash your hands, keep your workspace or home as clean and airy as possible, cough or sneeze into the crease of your arm, and try not to touch your faces much with your hands. Especially for those who still have to go to work outside their houses, I send you all my best energy and my love, we’ll overcome this and for those countries that are going through the worst right now, I send all my love, my thoughts are always with you. I love you and as always I want to express the importance of thinking about others and leaving selfishness aside in such a critical moment.⚡️

Going back to what we’re here for today, I thought it would be something fun to check my TBR and make a list of those books that although I really WANT to read, I find them super intimidating for some reason. Sometimes I see the fact of being intimidated by a book as such a silly situation, right? But it happens to all of us at some point, so I thought it would be a good idea to share this list with you and tell you what I feel about each book so that in some way we can chat about it and shake off all those doubts, insecurities and general intimidation by them. 🥰
What I plan to do is share with you my top 10 most intimidating books that I’ve added to my TBR either in Goodreads or that I already own, you’ll be able to see in addition to each title, its synopsis and a brief explanation of why I feel intimidated by it. 😊  The books aren’t ordered in a specific way, just random, so I hope you can help me change my ideas and tell me a little about what you think about them, as well as share your most intimidating books with me. 👏🏻 I can’t wait to show you my lists, so … Let’s get started! 🌵 Continue reading “To 10 | Most Intimidating Books On my TBR 🌵”

Synopsis

All her life, Spensa’s dreamed of becoming a pilot. Of proving she’s a hero like her father. She made it to the sky, but the truths she learned about her father were crushing. The rumors of his cowardice are true—he deserted his flight during battle against the Krell. Worse, though, he turned against his team and attacked them.

Spensa is sure that there’s more to the story. And she’s sure that whatever happened to her father in his starship could happen to her. When she made it outside the protective shell of her planet, she heard the stars—and it was terrifying. Everything Spensa has been taught about her world is a lie.

But Spensa also discovered a few other things about herself—and she’ll travel to the end of the galaxy to save humankind if she needs to.
