New ARCs Recently Approved 💫

💫 Hi guys! I hope you’re having an amazing day. 💕 Today as the title says I come to share with you some ARCs that I’ve been so fortunate to receive recently. I don’t usually do this type of posts so often because I never have an appropriate amount of ARCs to show you at the same time and I’ve also had a bad streak with Netgalley, but it’s okay, it’s normal now that I can only “Wish For” each book. So, the other day I woke up with the great news that I’ve been approved with three very exciting ARCs so obviously I’m super excited to share them with you and as always talk a little about them in the comments. So without further ado, let’s start! 💫

In fact, just talking about ARCs and all that, I don’t know if you know this but I’ve never sent an e-mail to request a book directly from the publisher, and this is because I’m an international blogger and it gives me a little of fear that they reject me or just fail in the attempt, I guess the idea intimidates me, but lately I ‘ve been thinking in trying once and for all, at least to see if they can add me to their lists, it would be something I would really love to do, but we’ll see, it’s exciting when I think about it but scary in some way, what do you think about this? Have you tried?, How was it for you?. Let me know everything in the comments, I would love to know and it would be helpful ❤️

Meet Pepper, swim team captain, chronic overachiever, and all-around perfectionist. Her family may be falling apart, but their massive fast-food chain is booming ― mainly thanks to Pepper, who is barely managing to juggle real life while secretly running Big League Burger’s massive Twitter account.

Enter Jack, class clown and constant thorn in Pepper’s side. When he isn’t trying to duck out of his obscenely popular twin’s shadow, he’s busy working in his family’s deli. His relationship with the business that holds his future might be love/hate, but when Big League Burger steals his grandma’s iconic grilled cheese recipe, he’ll do whatever it takes to take them down, one tweet at a time.

All’s fair in love and cheese ― that is, until Pepper and Jack’s spat turns into a viral Twitter war. Little do they know, while they’re publicly duking it out with snarky memes and retweet battles, they’re also falling for each other in real life ― on an anonymous chat app Jack built.

As their relationship deepens and their online shenanigans escalate ― people on the internet are shipping them?? ― their battle gets more and more personal, until even these two rivals can’t ignore they were destined for the most unexpected, awkward, all-the-feels romance that neither of them expected.

💫 Ruthless Gods (Something Dark and Holy #2) by Emily A. Duncan 💫

Expected publication: April 7th, 2020 by Macmillan

40126121. sy475

The stunning sequel to instant New York Times bestseller, Wicked Saints!

Darkness never works alone…

Nadya doesn’t trust her magic anymore. Serefin is fighting off a voice in his head that doesn’t belong to him. Malachiasz is at war with who–and what–he’s become.

As their group is continually torn apart, the girl, the prince, and the monster find their fates irrevocably intertwined. They’re pieces on a board, being orchestrated by someone… or something. The voices that Serefin hears in the darkness, the ones that Nadya believes are her gods, the ones that Malachiasz is desperate to meet—those voices want a stake in the world, and they refuse to stay quiet any longer.

In her dramatic follow-up to Wicked Saints, the first book in her Something Dark and Holy trilogy, Emily A. Duncan paints a Gothic, icy world where shadows whisper, and no one is who they seem, with a shocking ending that will leave you breathless.

I don’t tend to request sequels if I haven’t read the first book yet but in this case, I had an impulse as soon as I saw it because I feel that I’ll love the first book, which I already have and I plan to read very soon. SUPER EXCITED!!

💫 The Silvered Serpents (The Gilded Wolves #2) by Roshani Chokshi 💫

Returning to the dark and glamorous world of her New York Times instant bestseller, The Gilded Wolves, Roshani Chokshi dazzles us with another riveting tale as full of mystery and danger as ever.

They are each other’s fiercest love, greatest danger, and only hope.

Séverin and his team members might have successfully thwarted the Fallen House, but victory came at a terrible cost ― one that still haunts all of them. Desperate to make amends, Séverin pursues a dangerous lead to find a long lost artifact rumored to grant its possessor the power of God.

Their hunt lures them far from Paris, and into icy heart of Russia where crystalline ice animals stalk forgotten mansions, broken goddesses carry deadly secrets, and a string of unsolved murders makes the crew question whether an ancient myth is a myth after all.

As hidden secrets come to the light and the ghosts of the past catch up to them, the crew will discover new dimensions of themselves. But what they find out may lead them down paths they never imagined.

A tale of love and betrayal as the crew risks their lives for one last job.

Don’t judge me! lol, again I have a sequel here from a book that I haven’t read yet, but the thing is that I never thought that I would be approved for it so it’s funny 😅. I love the author’s writing style so I’m excited to try this series soon.

    1. Oh, honey!!! I think we’ve all been there, you know? If you see any title you like, you should try it, you may be lucky! 😄
Covers are my weakness, I swear. I think it’s largely the reason why I request books, I’m so guilty of that 😅

  3. I am dying to read Tweet Cute! I thought about requesting it on Netgalley, but I am already behind with other ARCs so I decided I better not, hahah. The guilt would have drove me crazy by getting more ARCs when I already have some that I really need to read. I hope you enjoy all of the ARCs that you were approved for.

  4. I haven’t messaged publishers directly yet as well but I’ve been thinking of doing it lately! I’ve heard that it’s important to state that you’re an international blogger at the beginning so there are no disappointments later! And to include all your social media stats 🙂
