Hi, My Beautiful Bookish People!ย ๐Ÿ’žย , I hope you’re having a beautiful day. Today is Friday so, of course, I wanted to bring you a Book Tag to have some fun together and I loved this one as soon as I saw it because it’s based on Ariana Grande’s song, which I LOVE. and is, as you have already seen for the title, “Thank You, Next Book Tag”. The tag was originally created by thisstoryaintover, she’s a Booktuber, so you all should check her video out, to support her!ย ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿปย . I’ve been tagged by the wonderful and sweet ย ๐ŸŒผย Jenna || Bookmark Your Thoughts ||ย ๐ŸŒผย  you need to follow her blog if you don’t, is AMAZING, one of my favorites within the community and she’s a beautiful person, so you’ll not regret it!ย ๐Ÿ˜ย

Before starting with this fun tag, I wanted to tell you that I’ve FINALLY been organizing my Book Reviews Page. I’m very happy with how it has turned out, I decided to sort it alphabetically by the author’s last name, so I hope that once you check it out, it will be easier for you to find the review that you interested inย ๐Ÿ˜Šย
Thank you SO much for reading this, guys, I know I’m always saying things that have nothing to do with the post, but well, I want to share everything with you. Now if you get to check the page out, please, let me know what you think! ย ๐Ÿ’žย

The Hating Game by Sally Thorne.ย I’m going to pick my biggest unpopular opinion EVER lol. I’m glad that so many people enjoyed it, though, but it wasn’t for me AT ALL. I read less than 50% of it, and I really don’t like anything, I don’t want to go into details about why I didn’t like it all over again, but basically, I find it very problematic and contains some rather unfortunate phrases with discriminatory content. If you want to know more about my thoughts on this one, you can check out my full review

Radio Silence by Alice Oseman. This is one of my favorite books of all time. There are still times when I think about it and makes me smile, it’s a beautiful story, which in fact, I think is perfect for this promp because talks a lot about the meaning of love, love in all its forms, support, growth, and friendship. It’s wonderful and I recommend it a lot if you haven’t read it yet.
Even now, I’m smiling like a fool as I write this because I LOVE it so much, and it’s such a unique and wonderful experience, I can not!. It’s also a 100% diverse reading, so if it’s something you’re looking for, this one is the perfect option

The Raven Cycle by Maggie Stiefvater. I mean more the series in its entirety. First, I want to tell you that I LOVE this series, in fact, it’s one of my favorites, the third book is just perfect for me, but I’ve been discovering every time I started with one of these books I always had the same experience, at the beginning it was very difficult for me to be able to commit myself to the story, it’s a bit heavy at times, and the plot is a bit complicated and complex, so you have to be 100% into the book to not miss anything and be able to understand everything. It’s because of this that I’ve had to have patience with these books but I always end up loving them. It’s a very magical and whimsical series. I would personally recommend it because I liked it, but I’m aware that it’s not a plot for everyone, although the characters are wonderful ALWAYS

The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid. I LOVE this book SO MUCH, a while ago I didn’t mention it in the blog, so here it is, in all its splendor, READ IT!.
I take this promp as a book that has made me suffer or cry, and this book has made me feel all that and more. Evelyn’s story has all the condiments that are needed to create a perfect and real story of love, betrayal, pain, loss, family, and glory. It’s SO amazing.
There are some VERY hard scenes for me in the book, I can’t mention any of it because spoilers, but they made me cry a lot, I got attached to the characters and I felt Evelyn’s story as a real thing and that made me go through many feelings, and although it’s a sad story, on the one hand, it is also wonderful, on the other.

The Selection (The Selection #1) by Kiera Cass. OMG, this is a very specific promp, but I think this book fits well for it. I feel that everyone has had that stage when you love and you’re trash for this type of books, I know even when you don’t want to admit it lol.
I adored all this trilogy when I read it, but it was SO long ago that I feel that now that I think of it, wasn’t as good as I thought, but I feel it’s part of the growth as a reader, to find your tastes inside the readings and keep growing and changing with it.
At that time, I must confess that I loved, love triangles and dystopian worlds, it was like the best thing at that moment, so this book had everything I needed. But well, today I don’t think I would read something like that since I’m not interested in the same things.
Something I learned from it? Maybe in a certain way, it was a before and after in my tastes for books, it was like a hinge and then I started reading different things. I think I learned that this isn’t what I really like, and today I can see that many things that happened in this book are absurd, but hey, it was fun then. *accepting my past*

Scythe (Arc of a Scythe #1) by Neal Shusterman.ย  I’ve been having INCREDIBLE readings this month, I’m very happy with it, but right now I’m picking this one because it’s so unique and incredible, I can’t stop thinking about it and the sequel will be great, I can feel it!. I also love talking with you about it in the comments and on Twitter, it’s super fun, and see that most of you have enjoyed it as well, makes me happy, finally, I’m on the good side of a popular book lol

I’ll Give You The Sun by Jandy Nelson. I would choose Radio Silence but I don’t want to repeat myself so I’ll go for this beautiful and hopeful book.
I really feel that I read this book exactly when I needed it and it has influenced me in many ways and all positive and growing. It talks a lot about family and that was what touched my soul the most and made me reflect a lot on personal issues. It’s also an extremely real and beautiful book about brotherhood and what it means to grow and accept ourselves. Also talks a lot about second chances and fate, and that means a lot to me.
I want to cry every time I think about this book, I LOVE IT SO MUCH!
While Radio Silence touch me more on the relationship side, this one has touched me a lot on the family side

  1. HOW ARE YOU SO ADORABLE?!?! I think I say this all the time ha-ha! Thank you for the compliment, love โค

I haven't read "The Hating Game" but I honestly don't know if I want to? I think I might try to get it from the library and see how I feel later this year ๐Ÿ™‚

I WISH I liked The Raven Boys as much as everyone else does! Honestly, the story is awesome. I was so intrigued by it and the characters … but I can't get into the writing style at all. I feel like the ODD one out with this book … I WANNA BELONG!!

    Great post!

    1. I think that The Hating Game is that kind of books that EVERYONE loves, but there’s a small minority that doesn’t, and there I am, lol. So I honestly think that there’s a great possibility that you enjoy it if you read it ๐Ÿ˜Š

Oh, sweetieeeee!๐Ÿ˜ญ , Is exactly why I mention that it’s not for everyone, so I get it, but the characters are real gems, I love them SO MUCH. I can t wait for the release of Call Down The Hawk, it’s a new trilogy or series following Ronan!!, I’m not as much a fan of him, like everyone else, but if I can have a little bit more of this world, I TAKE IT ๐Ÿ˜

I hope you’re enjoying your current reading and have a BEAUTIFUL day ๐Ÿ’•

      1. I will have to let you know … IF I ever get around to reading it ha-ha!

So I’ve HEARD of this series with Ronan and I think I’m going to give it a shot … because Ronan was ONE of the reasons I wanted to get into the series ha-ha!

        You too, darlin’! โค

  2. Sofii!! We did the same post today!! Great minds!

The Selection is a great choice! I agree, that series got me off of dystopian love triangles, which I guess I should thank it for? It’s a fun series, even if parts of it are…something.

I’ll Give You the Sun has my HEART. I love the ending so much.

Great list!! I envy your choices.

  3. I agree with a lot of your answers, Sofii ๐Ÿ˜€ The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo is magnificent but indeed very painful, and I was trash for The Selection back when I read it (I got so into it I finished all three books in two or three days) but now it’s super cringy … I’ve been eyeing The Raven Boys for a while, but I don’t know if it’s something I would enjoy … BUT I’m really happy you loved Radio Silence because I got it on the mail today and I’m starting it tomorrow ^^

  4. Ahh I love your answers so much, what a fun tag! I agree with you about The Raven Boys and patience, I feel like it’s a book you have to be completely immersed into to… somehow, fully get it and to have a chance to adore it, too. I personally loved the series, but it took me a little while to get into the book and the world, too ๐Ÿ™‚ and EVELYN HUGO gave me all the emotions, ahhhh. And radio silence, oh this makes me so, so happy to see this book here, I adore it so much โค โค

  5. Ah! Thank you so much for tagging me Sofii! I’m really looking forward to doing this one!

Radio Silence has been on my TBR for what feels like forever, and I NEED IT IN MY HANDS RIGHT NOW. Even more so because you talked so highly about it! The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo is also sitting next to me right now and is my next read, and I can’t even begin to tell you how excited I am to read it.

I 100% agree with The Raven Cycle teaching patience! Honestly, the hype for that whole series was really high for me, but it even exceeded all of my expectations. I really, really, really loved that one!

Thank you again for tagging me! This was such a lovely post, and I loved reading all of your answers! โค

  6. Thank you for tagging me, Sofii! I’d seen this tag go around but now I can definitely do it ๐Ÿ˜Š I totally agree with your pick for a book that taught you pain. Those last 20 or so pages of Evelyn Hugo RIPPED my heart apart!

OMG, is VERY addictive, even though, I didn’t want to continue with the rest of the books when the author expanded the series, because now I think I’ve had enough. I prefer to stay with the memories of when I enjoyed it ๐Ÿ˜…
