💫 Hi guys, I hope you’re having an INCREDIBLE day. Today I bring you a Book Tag that I’ve seen in the blog of the wonderful Jenna ❤️|| Bookmark Your Thoughts ||, and since then I’ve wanted to find a moment to do it myself. I’m not sure who was the creator, but if you know, let me know to give her/him the recognition it deserves. 💫
🌸 Before starting the tag wanted to clarify something, as you see by now, I haven’t posted on Wednesday, which I’ve never done before, but everything is GREAT!, it just has been my boyfriend’s birthday 🎊 and I’ve been very committed with the read-a-thon, so I haven’t had time to post, and being honest I didn’t want to do something just for post, you know?, because I knew then I wouldn’t be giving 100% of me. But it’s just that, and I wanted to share it with you.
I’ve been really having a great time with the Smutathon, I’ve read 2 of the 5 books in my TBR, so I think I’m doing pretty well, I’ve read The Unhoneymooners and Vicious, but I’ll tell you my thoughts next week, in my Wrap Up, and I possibly also have a series of short reviews so you can check out if you’re interested in knowing more about them.😊
Finally, you’ll notice that I’ll be testing new headers, I tend to get bored quickly from what I have and from time to time I like to change, so don’t worry anyway is a small change but it feels refreshing for me. Of course, let me know what you think, I don’t have a lot of design skills, actually, I don’t really have any, 😂 but I do what I can so I hope it’s pleasant to the eyes, at least 🌸
💫 So now, without further ado, let’s start with the tag and I hope you enjoy it and decide to do it yourself! 💫

A Book That Made You Laugh Out Loud
A Dog’s Purpose (A Dog’s Purpose #1) by W. Bruce Cameron
This book is so ADORABLE that I just couldn’t stop smiling the whole time, but even leaving that fact aside, also has super fun scenes, and since it’s told from the perspective of a puppy then it gives rise to a lot of confusions and very funny moments. I recommend it a lot if you’re a dog person like I am because this series of books are too beautiful not to be read

A Book That Sends A Positive Message
Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda (Creekwood #1) by Becky Albertalli
This book is very beautiful, you surely have read it by now, and if I don’t I highly recommend that you go for it, because I think it’s the complete package in terms of acceptance and support, it’s a journey of growth and a family love like no other. I think this book leaves a very positive message, Simon comes out of the closet and although he’s almost forced to do so due to an unfair and quite negative situation, his family and friends are very positive and beautiful acceptance and response to that. It’s a moment of discovery for Simon as well, and it’s just really bright and beautiful. The way his parents react is like one of my favorites, all that support and unconditional love makes me immensely happy and in a world where there are still families that cannot accept their children for who they are, I think it transmits an entirely positive and enriching message

A Book With A Character’s Strength That You Admire
Skyward (Skyward #1) by Brandon Sanderson
Spensa came directly to my mind, perhaps because I read the book very recently, I must say that I admire many characters for their strength but the situations that Spensa must go through are heartbreaking, and even though it’s a Sci-Fi book and has many fiction elements, I think that huge backpack which Spensa must carry with for being the daughter of a man who made a mistake could easily happen in real life and that’s why I choose her. She’s exposed all the time to extremely uncomfortable moments where her superiors always mistreat her and treat her like crap, and she never stops believing in herself and trying, and that makes me feel a lot of admiration for this character, because despite the adversities and mistreatment, she doesn’t stop, and continues fighting for her dreams until proving to them what she can really do. It’s a wonderful book as well, so if you want to try it, I’m sure you’ll not regret

A Book With A Kick-Ass Female Protagonist
A Darker Shade of Magic (Shades of Magic #1) by V.E. Schwab
Again, I feel that I could name many characters, obviously some of my favorites, but I’ll choose Lila because she’s exactly this, a stubborn young bad-ass who goes for everything she wants and simply fights for it in order to obtain it. This character is growing to have a very important place in my heart, she has incredible growth as the story progresses and I can’t wait to read the third book since I’ve been seeing that it’s a huge favorite, so I’m excited about that.

A Book That Made You Incredibly Angry
The Pisces by Melissa Broder
As you already know if you have read my review or maybe you have seen me mention this book, I don’t like it AT ALL. I don’t judge those who loved it, because obviously, are many since the book has won a prize but in my humble personal opinion I think is a disaster, I don’t understand the message and I swear that although it was easy to read I couldn’t believe all that was happening, make me SO angry, I was hating more and more the characters and the animal abuse is unacceptable, I know there’s a “symbolism” behind, but I don’t get it so that’s what I think

An Underrated Book You Think More People Should Pay Attention Too
Black Bird of the Gallows (Black Bird of the Gallows #1) by Meg Kassel
Again, I feel like I have so many underrated books to choose from but I’ll go with this one because I think if you like paranormal/catastrophic kind of stories, about omens and a very unique love story, something atmospheric that feels like watching a series, something like The Vampire Diaries, or Grimm, Supernatural or those things, I think you’ll enjoy this book a lot.
In addition, the author has created a very original concept based on using bees and crows as supernatural creatures, and I think that’s incredibly handled.

A Book With A Twist Or Surprise That Tricked You
The Wicked King (The Folk of the Air #2) by Holly Black
I was reading this book near the end of it and although I know how it works, because this series has shocking endings, I didn’t see that coming and it managed to surprise myself a lot, I was like, WTF is happening lol. It’s a really good book and I need the third one yesterday!!!
