☕️I’ve been looking for something new and fun to bring to the blog and I’ve seen this challenge everywhere so it really catches my attention, and I’m more than happy and excited to start with this “ABC book challenge”.
I’ll be uploading a post every week sharing with you my most memorable titles and the books that are still on my TBR, corresponding to each letter of the alphabet, this time with the letter “C“.
I don’t know who is the original creator of this challenge, so if you know, please let me know in the comments. Personally I’ve seen this challenge/tag in the blogs of Tiana (The Book Raven) and Jacquie (Rattle the Stars), both are adorable people and their blogs are amazing so, please, check them, you’ll not regret it
I really hope you enjoy this post series a lot, it’s long so I hope to do my best and my goal with it is that we can all share our thoughts about the books that I’ll show you and as always, have a lot of fun.
Without more further ado, let’s start!☕️
Memorable Titles That Start With “C”
I hope this is not cheating, but I’ll be including those books that start with “The”, having as reference the first letter of the next word
☕️ City of Bones (The Mortal Instruments #1) by Cassandra Clare : I’ve only put this one because it is the first of the series but I absolutely love all these books, it’s one of the first series that I’ve read and completed and will always have a special place in my heart. I think everyone knows what this is about so I will not tell you, but I really love this series, and I think that if you like the paranormal in general and you haven’t read it yet you should give it a try, because, in addition to having Shadowhunters, also has many creatures of the night like vampires, werewolves, witches, has it all, you can’t skip this incredible series. Plus, I met my favorite character : Magnus Bane💕
☕️Clockwork Angel (The Infernal Devices #1) by Cassandra Clare : Again, I put the first of the trilogy but these books are all THE BEST THING EVER, I think that after some time has passed since I read a Cassandra Clare book, I can recognize that I think this trilogy is my absolute favorite of her. The third book is one of my favorite books ever, that’s why I’m always recommending it.
This trilogy for those who don’t know is located in the Shadowhunters world but tells the story of its origins, especially the origin of the main families of this story, so is an Historical Fiction.
It makes me feel so nostalgic to talk about them, I love the characters, they’re incredibly created and if you don’t like love triangles, well girl/boy, that’s because you never read this books. #WillmyhusbandHerondale😍
☕️The Cruel Prince (The Folk of the Air #1) by Holly Black : I LOVE this book, I should stop saying that because it’s obvious that I love all these books otherwise they wouldn’t be here, right?!. Well The Cruel Prince is absolutely wonderful, I had never before read a book of the author, but I had heard very good things about her writing style and especially her fame of being the queen of the fairie books, and I can say that all that is true .
I love the main character of this book, I think it’s one of the best I’ve read about, and to be just the first book her growth is incredible. The main plot will have you on the edge of your seat, the story takes place in the fairie world, where everything is betrayal and lies and that will make you completely hooked, also the plot twists are incredible and so well thought out.
I highly recommend this book if you like fairies and if you like GOT, because I’m a big fan of that series and I feel that there is a special vibe that reminds me of it, in this book. (MY REVIEW)
☕️Caraval (Caraval #1) by Stephanie Garber : Beyond the fact that this was a book with a lot of hype at the time, I actually, get into it without even reading the synopsis, because honestly I almost always tend to hate the books that everyone loves so I wanted to read it because I felt it that way, and I just did it.
There’s something so magical and captivating about this book, you just have to read the first pages to realize you’ll love it. What I love the most about it, is how the mystery is handled within the plot, because despite not being a mystery book but rather a fantasy, she handles this theme in an extraordinary way, and for a mystery lover as I am, this won my heart. Also the writing style is beautiful, I can’t wait to read Legendary, many of you have spoken to me about it so I’m excited even though I know I’ll have to re-read this one before finally reading the next one (MY REVIEW)
