☕️I’ve been looking for something new and fun to bring to the blog and I’ve seen this challenge everywhere so it really catches my attention, and I’m more than happy and excited to start with this “ABC book challenge”.
I’ll be uploading a post every week sharing with you my most memorable titles and the books that are still on my TBR, corresponding to each letter of the alphabet, this time with the letter “B“.
I don’t know who is the original creator of this challenge, so if you know, please let me know in the comments. Personally I’ve seen this challenge/tag in the blogs of Tiana (The Book Raven) and Jacquie (Rattle the Stars), both are adorable people and their blogs are amazing so, please, check them, you’ll not regret it
I really hope you enjoy this post series a lot, it’s long so I hope to do my best and my goal with it is that we can all share our thoughts about the books that I’ll show you and as always, have a lot of fun.
Without more further ado, let’s start!☕️
Memorable Titles That Start With “B”
I hope this is not cheating, but I’ll be including those books that start with “The”, having as reference the first letter of the next word
☕️ Burn for Burn (Burn for Burn #1) by Jenny Han & Siobhan Vivian: It’s crazy, I don’t know why I’ve never continue with the series because I loved this one!. This is a really sensational book , it’s a contemporary but with an unexpected turn towards the paranormal, we follow the story of 3 very different girls who live on the same island whose stories are crossed by the thirst for revenge, super recommended! Jenny Han’s writing style is one of the most addictive I’ve come across with.
☕️ The Butterfly Garden (The Collector #1) by Dot Hutchison: I love this book but I feel it’s one of those that is not for everyone. It’s very dark and follows the story of a girl who’s kidnapped by a man named as “The Gardener” and this man has been capturing girls for years and taking them, against their will, to a secret place in his own home called “The Garden”. All these girls are named as their butterflies and he make tattoos of wings on their backs. As you can see the story itself is very intense and touch several topics that could hurt a sensitive person, as well as abuse and violence, but it also has a police aspect, which I don’t usually enjoy, but this book is written in such an intriguing and smart way that just captures you from the first moment.
I don’t recommend the following books and I think this works perfect as a stand-alone (MY REVIEW)
☕️ Blue Lily, Lily Blue (The Raven Cycle #3) by Maggie Stiefvater: This is the third book in The Raven Cycle series, and it’s so AMAZING, OMG, I miss the characters a lot and thinking about this book makes me very happy, without doubt, the best of the quartet. Many things happen in this book, things that we all expected and the main plot begins to take shape. I highly recommend this series if you haven’t read it yet (MY REVIEW)
☕️ The Bane Chronicles by Cassandra Clare: For those who still don’t know, Magnus Bane is one of my favorite characters ever, and obviously to read these short stories about his life and see him again in his adventures and interact with other characters that I love as well, was so incredible and fun. So if you’ve already read the series both The Mortal Instruments and The Infernal Devices you have to try this one because I know you’ll love it (MY REVIEW)
☕️ Black Bird of the Gallows (Black Birds of the Gallows #1) by Meg Kassel: Enjoy this book so much!, and I really feel that it’s one of those books that don’t have the recognition that it really deserves and if you haven’t read it yet, I think it’s the right time since its accompanying book is just a few months away of its release date. This book is of the paranormal genre, and although the romantic relationship has some cliches things, I wouldn’t let this overshadow the great idea of author at the time of developing the plot, it’s a very original book and I’m dying to read the second soon.
The synopsis of the book begins something like: “A simple but forgotten truth: Where harbingers of death appear, the morgues will soon be full.”, And I think that’s all you need to know. (MY REVIEW)
Books Starting With “B” On My TBR
I will not talk about them individually because we would be here years, but I’m super excited to read them all and I would love to know if you have read any of them, I want to know all your thoughts about it 💕
