Copia de Copia de Copia de Copia de Copia de Copia de Copia de Copia de SPRINGTIME (2)

☕️ Hi guys I hope you’re having an amazing day!. Today I decided to bring you something different, a while ago since I don’t show you the advanced reader copies that so kindly publishers and authors give me to review, and in part this is because I honestly haven’t been requesting so often, since due to the new laws that some pages have imposed it’s now really difficult for an international blogger like me to be approved with an ARC. Even so, sometimes miracles happen lol, and now that I have accumulated a decent amount of books to show you, I’ve decided to do it. Maybe it’s not a post that I’ll start doing often cause of everything I told you before, but even so I’ll try to do it every time I want to share with you some ARCs that I receive.
Here below I’ll specify where each copy is from, but most will always be from pages as NetGalley and Edelweiss, and sometimes from authors as well☕️
I hope you enjoy it!💕

Keeper of the Bees (Black Birds of the Gallows #2) by Meg Kassel

Expected publication: September 4th 2018 by Entangled: Teen

37638219KEEPER OF THE BEES is a tale of two teens who are both beautiful and beastly, and whose pasts are entangled in surprising and heartbreaking ways.

Dresden is cursed. His chest houses a hive of bees that he can’t stop from stinging people with psychosis-inducing venom. His face is a shifting montage of all the people who have died because of those stings. And he has been this way for centuries—since he was eighteen and magic flowed through his homeland, corrupting its people.

He follows harbingers of death, so at least his curse only affects those about to die anyway. But when he arrives in a Midwest town marked for death, he encounters Essie, a seventeen-year-old girl who suffers from debilitating delusions and hallucinations. His bees want to sting her on sight. But Essie doesn’t see a monster when she looks at Dresden.

Essie is fascinated and delighted by his changing features. Risking his own life, he holds back his bees and spares her. What starts out as a simple act of mercy ends up unraveling Dresden’s solitary life and Essie’s tormented one. Their impossible romance might even be powerful enough to unravel a centuries-old curse.

36547961Gabe and Elyse have never met. But they both have something to hide.

Quiet, shy Elyse can’t believe it when she’s cast as the lead in her Portland high school’s production of Romeo and Juliet. Her best friend, Brynn, is usually the star, and Elyse isn’t sure she’s up to the task. But when someone at rehearsals starts to catch her eye–someone she knows she absolutely shouldn’t be with–she can’t help but be pulled into the spotlight.

Austin native Gabe is contemplating the unthinkable–breaking up with Sasha, his headstrong, popular girlfriend. She’s not going to let him slip through her fingers, though, and when rumors start to circulate around school, he knows she has the power to change his life forever.

Gabe and Elyse both make the mistake of falling for the wrong person, and falling hard. Told in parallel narratives, this twisty, shocking story shows how one bad choice can lead to a spiral of unforeseen consequences that not everyone will survive.

  1. Hi! I was wondering how you requested these ARC’s from publishers and authors. I’ve always wanted to read/review ARC’s, but I’ve never known how to. Do you contact the publishers and ask them, or do they contact you by sending you a book?
    Thank you!

    1. Sometimes authors reach out to you and offer their books in exchange for your honest review, then there are websites such as NetGalley, Edelweiss, and Penguin First to Read where you can sign up and request the books that you want to review.

    2. It’s exactly as Ashley mentions, I personally request ARCs via NetGalley or Edelweiss, or sometimes the authors themselves contact me to read their books, as an international blogger it’s honestly quite difficult to be accepted with an ARC.
Sometimes some people send a direct e-mail to the publisher requesting a certain copy, if you want to know more about it I’ll leave you here below several posts about it that will explain everything much better than me, but if you search the internet is really full of info
Hope this can help you 💕
